One of the biggest limitations of AI agents has been their inability to make payments on their own. That is starting to change.
Coinbase, Circle, and OKX are developing solutions that give AI agents their own crypto wallets, allowing them to make payments within predefined limits. This means an agent could pay for API access or even trade assets without human involvement.
Crypto is well suited for these use cases. Blockchain makes it possible to set spending limits while maintaining a transparent and verifiable record of transactions.

Fiat money is issued by governments and derives its value from institutional trust. Cryptocurrency exists independently of any government and runs on blockchain technology, where all transactions are recorded publicly and cannot be altered.
Key differences between crypto and fiat:
For companies working with international partners, cryptocurrency remains a convenient way to make cross border payments. Trybit provides a ready to use solution for accepting crypto payments with fast onboarding and seamless integration.

Main reasons for high volatility:
The most volatile coins include BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, and DOGE. For businesses looking to avoid exchange rate risk when accepting payments, Trybit offers auto-conversion of incoming payments to USDT.

🎂 Ethereum just turned 11
On July 30, 2015, the Ethereum Genesis Block was created. One ETH was priced at around $0.31. Today it trades at $1,920, a gain of nearly 6,200 times.
The journey was not smooth. The 2021 peak near $5,000 was followed by a 60% decline, a period of governance stagnation, and lingering questions about the protocol's economic model.
Since 2026, the developer community has become active across all fronts. Work is now underway on scaling, privacy, quantum resistance, and AI infrastructure integration.

Liquidity is how easily an asset can be bought or sold without significantly changing its price. The higher the liquidity, the faster transactions are executed and the more stable the price stays, even during large trading volumes.
Several factors affect liquidity: trading volume on exchanges, listings on major platforms, project reputation, and the number of available trading pairs.
Why it matters:
➡️ for traders — positions can be opened and closed quickly without losing value on the spread➡️ for investors — liquid assets are easier to exit at the right moment➡️ for businesses — choosing liquid currencies reduces volatility risks when accepting crypto payments

The Financial Conduct Authority is in discussions with market participants, including major banks, about approaches to regulating tokenised gold. Financial Times reports this citing sources.
The regulator is gathering feedback on how the instrument could function as collateral in wholesale markets. According to the publication, FCA may announce the development of regulatory standards within the coming months.
London remains the largest gold trading hub but faces growing pressure from Shanghai and Hong Kong.
A separate question is oversight. FCA does not regulate physical gold trading but does set rules for gold derivatives and exchange-traded products

PYUSD is a stablecoin issued by PayPal, pegged to the US dollar at 1:1. It is issued in partnership with Paxos and runs on Ethereum and Solana. Reserves are held in US dollars and short-term Treasury bonds, making the asset predictable for business use.
It works well for international transfers, payments for digital products, SaaS platforms, and DeFi transactions. Integration with the PayPal ecosystem makes the token accessible to millions of users worldwide.
PYUSD can be accepted directly to a wallet or through a crypto payment processor. The second option automates address generation, transaction confirmation, and payment history management.
Trybit supports PYUSD payments with auto-conversion, AML checks, and integration via API, HTML widget or CMS modules

Key differences from crypto:
A full CBDC launch has taken place in 11 countries, while 19 of 20 G20 nations are in the development stage. A complete switch to digital money is not possible in the short term, but demand for digitalization is growing worldwide.

The USDT issuer announced that KPMG, one of the world's largest audit firms, has issued an unqualified opinion on the company's financial statements for the past year. This is Tether's first comprehensive independent audit since 2017.
The review covered not only reserves but also assets, liabilities, transactions, accounting systems, and cash flows. Tether's reserves exceeded its liabilities by $6.814 billion as of January 1.
For context: CEO Paolo Ardoino had previously stated that Big Four firms were reluctant to work with Tether due to reputational concerns.
Since 2017, the company had only published quarterly reserve attestations, and its transparency had repeatedly raised questions among investors.

POL is the native token of the Polygon ecosystem, launched in fall 2024 as the successor to MATIC. The core idea is that a single token works across all Polygon networks, removing the need for separate assets on each chain.
The token is used for transaction fees, staking, network governance, and participation in DeFi protocols. Validators lock POL, confirm transactions, and earn rewards. The more staked, the more stable and secure the entire ecosystem becomes.
In 2026, POL established itself as the central asset of the Polygon 2.0 architecture, providing a unified economic model across the entire network.
To exchange POL for other cryptocurrencies, Trybit offers access to over 1,500 trading pairs with fast transaction processing.

Both tokens are pegged to the US dollar at 1:1, but they work differently.
USDT is issued by Tether, backed by real-world reserves including cash and short-term bonds. Centralised, highly liquid, and widely used for corporate settlements and payments.
USDD is issued by Tron DAO Reserve using an algorithmic model with crypto collateral. Decentralised, community-governed, and actively used in DeFi and within the Tron ecosystem.
Key practical differences: USDT is more stable and predictable, while USDD has no centralised address blocking mechanism. For business payments USDT is the better fit, for DeFi USDD sees more use.
Trybit supports both tokens. Integration is available via API, HTML widget, and CMS modules.

With the transition to Trybit, the brand guide has been fully redesigned. The logo, colour palette, icons, payment buttons, and document structure have all been updated.
The new logo features a three-dimensional block with a chart inside. The block references the principles of blockchain, while the chart symbolises transaction flow and growth.
The updated guide now includes expanded usage examples showing how to communicate crypto payment acceptance across different touchpoints, including the homepage, site footer, checkout, social media, email newsletters, and press releases. Ready-made templates are available for the latter two.
A dedicated section covers the rules for displaying the payment method correctly, including how to name it, which icons to use, and how to add a note. Clear presentation directly affects conversion and builds customer trust in crypto payments.

X is in talks about using stablecoins, including USDC from Circle, to pay royalties to popular creators for their content. CoinDesk reports this citing a source familiar with the matter.
In early August, X launched the Original Content Rewards Program to compensate creators for original content. Payouts for unique views from Premium subscribers will begin on August 28 on a biweekly basis.
This is not the first time a Musk venture has turned to stablecoins. SpaceX already uses them to process Starlink payments from other countries.
X has no plans to issue its own cryptocurrency. Musk stated this back in 2023 following the platform's rebrand from Twitter.

The payment page interface has been redesigned. Payment details now appear in a single top-to-bottom column so customers do not miss the network, address, or Memo. Transfer fees are shown only where they actually apply.
Web3 wallet payments now come without a transfer fee for USDT TRC20, USDT ERC20, USDC ERC20, SHIB ERC20, and PYUSD ERC20. The system automatically detects the installed extension and suggests the right option, supporting TronLink, Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and Phantom. The default payment option is USDT on BSC with no transfer fee.
Mobile experience has been improved too: fonts and copy buttons are larger, and the QR code is now tucked under an icon instead of taking up screen space permanently. The project logo has been increased to 120 × 40 pixels — we recommend updating it in your project settings.
