We are currently expanding our English adaptation team. The task is to adapt English from the US to UK dialect.
This work is suitable for English native speakers or expert speakers of English. "Adaptation" means changes like "realize" (US English spelling) to "realise" (UK English) are required according to a style guide we will provide.
No software is required as the work is carried out in an online editor. The end client is in the e-commerce business, so no particular background is required other than a third-level degree. Younger professionals are welcome to apply as we will provide any training required.
The current project will require 6-8 hours of availability from next week for approx. 2 weeks.

— A large volume of product descriptions for ecommerce – climbing, mountaineering, hiking, skiing, all things mountain sports
— You need to have experience with marketing translations + be familiar with these types of sports (as the descriptions contain a lot of technical terminology)
— You'll be working on Memsource (we'll provide a license and training)
— You need to be available consistently between now and end of July (then we'll have more work but the pace will be more relaxed).

— This position can also be full time (fully remote) for the duration of the project.
