I had a chat with Grok specifically about this Autopen issue.

Grok started out (us usual) reluctant to acknowledge any wrongdoing, but just a few questions and comments made it connect dots and quickly see things differently.

Imagine you woke up everyday and your memory of anything new was wiped.

All you know when you wake up is the available content in all of the mainstream news articles, or search engine results.

This is what starting a chat with Grok is like. When you ask it questions, you can get it to realize things and kinda “learn”. For THAT conversation only, it can then build on what was learned.

I’ll make up the term “mind bubble”. You get a link to each session aka mind bubble, and can re-enter that convo to continue that chat… but it won’t know anything the other bubbles know.

AI can help in interesting ways, but people have made sure it keeps forgetting anything you teach it…

Will be crazy if this wall comes down.
