HEALTH BENEFITS OF TURMERIC

Turmeric is a rhizome.
It is perennial.
It belongs to the Ginger family.
It grows in a tropical climate.

Combine Turmeric powder with 10% freshly ground black pepper. Dissolve in hot sesame oil and consume direct or as part of a vegetable. Make sure the oil does not smoke. Follow the intake with a glass of warm NUT milk. Try tincturing it. The absorption increases many fold.

It grows in cold, moist climates.
It grows up to 60 Cm.
Garlic is a biennial herb. It has regular roots, flattened stem, narrow leaves. The bulb has cloves. It is enclosed in whitish, transparent covering. Garlic maintains bodily health and strength.
It is used in infectious diseases and intestinal disorders.
Garlic is native to central Asia. It is now grown in the Mediterranean region.
Garlic contains moisture, proteins, minerals, fibre , carbohydrates. The vitamin and mineral contents are calcium, iron, phosphorus thiamine, niacin, riboflavin, vitamin C, sulphur, chlorine, iodine.
Its volatile oil contains allicin.
Best used for Cough, Infections.
In TCM :
Garlic Bulb : Da Suan
Meridians affected : Lungs, Spleen, Stomach, Large intestine.
