EXTRA MILE

READ: Philippians 3:12-20
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
Colossians 1:29
Our generation of ministers has the Laodecian spirit of complacency. That spirit speaks today and says, βI am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.β God says, you donβt know that you are βwretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.β He continues to say, βI counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.β (Revelation 3:17-18).
You do need something! You are not really rich and you are not really as stable and as safe as you think.
Until you are in your grave, there will always be a little bit more that you can do for God. Canβt you win a few more souls even though you have won many souls for the Lord already? Canβt you plant another church? Canβt you hold more crusades and campaigns and conferences for Jesus? Canβt you build another church? Canβt you give a little bit more? Canβt you write one more book? Instead of resting now why donβt you rest in peace later?
Dear friend, donβt deceive yourself! You can do a little bit more! Most people are not doing as much as they could. A little bit more prayer and a little bit more effort will make a big difference. Why donβt you give a little bit more time to the study of the Word and to achieving of your spiritual goals?
Jesus spoke about going the extra mile. If you would add a few more yards you may achieve the goal of going at least one mile for Jesus.

RICHES
24th February, 2022
READ: Ezekiel 28:1-5
β¦Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:6
Labour not to be rich because riches can make you very proud. God resists the proud. Why should you spend your life labouring for something that will most likely make you proud? Why should you spend your life labouring for something that will make God resist you and fight against you?
Riches can harm you! Giving money to someone can destroy him. The prodigal sonβs money destroyed him. βThere is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurtβ (Ecclesiastes 5:13).
Labour not to be rich because riches are hidden and will require your whole life to find them. βAnd I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israelβ (Isaiah 45:3).
Riches are often unusable. Riches are often never really enjoyed by their owners. Why is this? Many rich people are unhappy. Many rich people have bad marriages and difficult relationships. Many rich people have warped personal lives.
Research has shown that earning more than a certain amount of money does not change your life significantly. For instance, you simply cannot use the extra toilets and bathrooms in your house all at once. Therefore your life does not change much with the extra toilets and bathrooms.
βA man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil diseaseβ (Ecclesiastes 6:2).

I have received numerous emails and messages over the past 2 weeks from people attending churches that are telling me that their pastors are completely ignoring what is going on with the Russia and Ukraine conflict as well as the ongoing disasters impacting the world from famines, pestilences and food shortages.
Bottom line, they are ignoring Bible Prophecy all together. Sadly, the majority of pastors and church leaders will not touch on Bible Prophecy and stick with topics that are less controversial and more motivational.
This is the very reason the Lord raised up this Ministry over 12 years ago. It is the duty of the watchmen to inform and equip believers of the times and seasons in which we are in, so that they may know how to navigate through these troubling times and properly prepare accordingly. This is what our mission statement is. - Ricky Scaparo
