The market took a breather after a three-day run up and ended flat with a negative bias, but held above 19,400. Will it indicate rangebound trade or further upmove above 50-day EMA in coming days? The rangebound trade is likely to continue with 19,400 seeming to be acting as a crucial role for either side of trend. If the index holds the same, then it will surpass 19,450 (50-day EMA - exponential moving average) followed by hurdle at 19,500 - 19,600, whereas on the lower side, 19,300 will be immediate support for the Nifty50 .

SJVN : The state-owned entity has received a Letter of Intent for the purchase of 200 MW solar power from Uttarakhand Power Corporation (UPCL). UPCL intends to purchase 200 MW power at a tariff of Rs 2.57 per unit from company's 1,000 MW Bikaner solar project.

Apollo Tyres : The tyre manufacturing company has recorded consolidated profit at Rs 474.3 crore for quarter ended September FY24, rising 164.4 percent over a year-ago period on healthy financial performance after fall in input cost. Revenue from operations grew by 5.4 percent to Rs 6,280 crore compared to corresponding period last fiscal.

Cummins India : The Pune-based engine maker has registered a 30 percent on-year increase in standalone net profit at Rs 328.5 crore for July-September period of FY24 despite weak topline, driven by improved operating margin performance and higher other income. Standalone revenue from operations declined 2.6 percent YoY to Rs 1,900 crore during the quarter.

Power Grid : The state-owned power transmission company has reported a 3.6 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated profit at Rs 3,781.4 crore for quarter ended September FY24. Consolidated revenue from operations grew by 1 percent to Rs 11,267 crore compared to corresponding period of last fiscal.

Shree Cement : The cement manufacturing company has recorded standalone net profit at Rs 491 crore for the July-September period of FY24, growing 159 percent over a year-ago period, driven by healthy operating numbers and strong topline. Standalone revenue from operations increased by 21 percent YoY to Rs 4,585 crore with sale volumes increasing 10 percent YoY to 8.2 million tonnes.
