Spotlight 07: 📝 troid.org - digital daʿwah ($15,000)
Since June 1998, one of the marquee projects of TROID has been troid.org. We began this project as teenagers. We have been blessed to remain attached to it for decades. From humble beginnings, the website began as an online location to place our one and only daʿwah pamphlet (20 questions about Islām) and our address. Today, it is home to almost 2,400 Islamic publications in the form of videos, audios, articles and cards, with 100s more in queue. The site and its social media channels are updated daily with important clarifications and knowledge-based content aimed at guiding Muslims throughout the English-speaking world to the authentic Sunnah.
Investing in this goal is better than any company shares or financial dividend. 1000s of people each day access from the 1000s of content items on a wide variety of Islamic topics. Be from those who finance this effort, take ownership of a share in that reward. What could be better than spreading Islamic knowledge far and wide. بارك الله فيك

A lecture which comprised a semi-comprehensive study on the ḥadīth: “We had saḥūr with Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ). We then stood to perform the prayer.” I asked: “What was the interval between them?” He replied: “Fifty verses.”

Spotlight 08: 📝 Shipping an Islamic library and 1000 leaflets to the Muslim community in Dominica, West Indies ($2000) 🇩🇲
Dear brothers and sisters, as part of our Ramadan fundraiser, we are seeking to aid the daʿwah in Dominica. Dominica is a small eastern Caribbean island of just 60,000 people. Islām is growing on the island with more than 100 local Dominican Muslims, the daʿwah is even reaching the far corners of the island including the indigenous Kalinago First Nations people. We first supported the da'wah in Dominica back in 2005 with remanence of the da'wah pamphlets and books still existing in the masjid. However, there is an important need to expand this literature. We are seeking to send a barrel with 30 books for the library and 1000 da'wah pamphlets for distribution across the island.

Spotlight 09: 📝 25 Years of TROID: 90s Daʿwah Throwback
For more than a quarter century, TROID has been active in calling non-Muslims to Islām. Many of those people became our brothers and sisters and joined the community. One pamphlet became twenty. One class became plenty. Small efforts to present a daʿwah flier became mega projects like troid.org. This Ramaḍān, we have a plan to distribute our daʿwah pamphlets in the 1000s to many major cities in Canada. Help us continue to push the daʿwah forward.

Zakat al-Fitr: money used for staple foods and ready for distribution before the ‘Īd Prayer
May Allah reward all involved.
Message from the ground in Somalia:
“May Allah reward our brothers and sisters in Toronto, from Masjid al-Furqan for the zakat al-fitr, this year was very difficult on many of us and we did not know where Allah would bring his bounty to us from, we distributed rice and flour in 25kg bags to those in need in Mogadishu, Galkacayo, Bacad weyn, Buurtinle and even to the beduins who live in remote areas in the desert who have been struck with hunger. I received phone calls before Ramadan begun from far and wide with regards to the zakat al-fitr this year as it has become somewhat of a tradition but I couldn’t answer as I did not know if it would come this year, so I told the poor to make dua. Once I received the funds is when I confirmed there would be Zakat al-fitr this year and started the work of buying the food and distributing it to the different cities, villages and towns.
May Allah reward everyone who made this possible, organized and contributed.”
