As a child in elementary school, somewhere in the mid-80's, history lessons started. Soon we arrived at our Germanic ancestors and we had pictures in our notebooks from our deities. Donar was one of them and we were told he was the god of thunder. Dirkje and me noticed that in Dutch shamanic circles (this is only our observation, yours might be different) Donar/Thor is not very populair. However Dirkje and me know that Donar/Thor is very important and deeper than some might think. He balances uncontrolled life-energy (the giants) vs order. Both are important to maintain our world and Donar, the Protector of Midgaard, dedicates himself to that task. Donar/Thor also journies between worlds which is a very shamanic thing to do. Hail Donar🙂!

Our culture, the deep roots of our European way of life, freedom and honour. (Source @belgeburoner )
Vrouw Holle.

Precious lady of the sickle,
of the magic elder tree.
Mother, healer of the earth,
wisdom over centuries.
Watcher of the fading seasons
of what comes and what will go.
Heart of life, soft and free
always close and sometimes me.

With devotion, Dirkje
'Der Germanische Geist ist der Geist der Freiheit' (The Germanic spirit is the spirit of freedom), according to Hegel. The Tribe of the Fox loves the Spirit of Freedom. Even if you perhaps feel less free in these crazy times you must always remember how to keep your spirit free. If we honour our ancestors, be kind to our naturespirits and if we contact our deities we are anchored in something wholesome. Go to the forests, fields, mountains and ancient monuments of Greater Teutonia and relax with your friends.
This week the Tribe of the Fox made 2 video's about tribes that lived in the Netherlands during the Roman era (not yet published). The Batavians and the Cananefaten. For Bitchute i looked for some nice covers and some were really awesome, like this one:
