People living during different time periods viewed the faerie folk differently.

During the Victorian era people viewed the faerie folk as tiny people with wings who were kind, gentle, and loving.

People who lived during the dark ages/medieval times viewed the faerie folk as something potentially dangerous, and something to stay away from.

In the olden days, the common people/peasants would leave offerings for the good folk in order to please them, and keep them happy.

It may seem silly to some people, but I believe faeries do exist on some level. Our ancestors spoke about the faerie folk as if they lived side by side with them. Anyone who’s done any kind of research on pre-Christian Europeans, will know that our ancestors spoke of faeries, elves, dwarfs, not as some made up fantasies, but as real races of beings here on earth.

At some point in the past, all of the magical, non-human races have all gone away from the earth.

No one really has any definitive answers when it comes to this topic, but one possibility may be that the magical races leave this earthly plane temporarily.Much like birds who fly away for the winter, but always return in spring.

I’ve mentioned a while back that if there really are great cycles of time that go around, as it is explained in the ancient Vedic texts, as well as other ancient traditions of different indigenous cultures, then it’s possible that as we enter the dark age, the magical races gradually leave earth for a time, but as we near the coming of the golden age, all of the gods, faeries, dwarfs, elves, etc.., all come back to earth again, to once more live alongside humans. I’m just entertaining possibilities that’s all.

I don’t to think that the faerie folk are tiny in size. I think they are same size as human beings. It may be possible that some are tiny alwhile others are human size

In the book 'WYRDWALKERS' by Raven Kaldera there is more about this idea. Kaldera writes that it is very well possible that the worlds pull apart and come together again because of great natural cycles. The9 worlds pull apart from top down so first Asgard, Vanaheim, Alfheim and ending with Helheim and Nilfheim. Than the cycle pulls the 9 worlds back together again starting with Helheim, Nilfheim and finally Asgard. He writes how the faeries left in the late middle-ages, the dwarfs in the 1700's and we lost contact with Helheim before the 20th century. Now the worlds come back together starting with Helheim. That makes sense to me! I see an increase in animals related to Helheim and death where i live and more people reported this (Not just in Holland!). Also there is an increasing interest in the Jotunfolk nowadays. So when will the Duergar come back???? I hope soon because the world needs new creativity. The old world is death and something new will be reborn. Always these cycles....never static.....

Good news & bad news. Mostly good🤗 I’m safe and sound!
