Staring into a black bowl with water is a powerful way to concentrate and ask a question to the gods and goddesses. In this case Thorgerdr. Nowadays Thorgerdr is not a very well known goddess but once She was the patron deity of jarl Haakon. But who is this mysterious Trollqueen? Eggther, Thorgerdr, the Matronae, Tamfana...the Tribe of the Fox loves to shine some light of these lesser wellknown deities. How about Aufania? This triple goddess is from Lower-Germania and was important. What does science say about Her and what happens if you want to connect with Aufania? For many centuries the Dutch were great knife fighters😎. You can even say that the martial art of 'bekkensnijden' or maulcutting was part and parcel in Dutch culture until it vanished in the 1800's. Bekkensnijden mainly disappeared because of the government enforcing laws against this martial art. His dogs are made of shadows their howl is a madmans shout!

Have you heard of Herne the Hunter, well if you haven't you have now!
So run! Run if you may! For the hunt is on and upon! And from this moment! Your scent is strong.

Folktober is here and it’s hungry for splendorous art.
-I was beaten black and blue by my good friends over at Hyperborean Radio, who threatened to break my kneecaps and drown my pet rock if I did not participate in the “Folktober” art event-
Every day a legend, hero or folktale is assigned and therefore the artist(s) must paint something relevant to the roster. We have complete creative freedom, provided we paint the subject or tale of that particular day. I thus chose Herne the Hunter as I have an affinity for the wilder legends and gods, as well as the fact there is very little artwork on Herne
-giving one the impression he is underappreciated and mostly forgotten in spite of deep-seated lore that cemented his name in English folklore-
It’s nice to focus on some of the more obscure lore; stuff which can be so easily forgotten or lost. To me they are equally as important as the stories of the more well known gods.
-all of our gods should be treasured-
