For many centuries the Dutch were great knife fighters😎. You can even say that the martial art of 'bekkensnijden' or maulcutting was part and parcel in Dutch culture until it vanished in the 1800's. Bekkensnijden mainly disappeared because of the government enforcing laws against this martial art.
