The Loup-garou is the French-Canadian werewolf. Not limited to wolves, the loup-garou can take other forms, such as dogs, pigs, cats, or owls.
They transform nightly for 101 days, transferring the curse to others once they are bitten.

Before the Tribe of the Fox started our YT channel and TG channel there was, and stil is🙂, a website in the Dutch lanquage. Dirkje, Thorwald Eklund and me wrote a lot of articles about the ancestors, naturespirits and deities. We write from our hearts, because we love the pagan spirituality from pre-christian Northwest-Europe❤️. https://stamvandevos.nl/

Inheems Heidendom van de Lage Landen. Het is er nog steeds, de verbinding met je voorouders. En met oude volksverhalen, goden en godinnen en met de oerkracht van de natuur. Is het tijd om terug te gaan naar je wortels en jezelf?
Late november is the time that Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet (Saint Nicolas and Black Peter) arrive in the Netherlands. The last decade that always stirres up a totally unneccessary discussion about slavery and racism. Some people think Black Peter represents a black person. Thats totally ignorant. The Sinterklaas festivity, altough in another form, is 1000's of years old😎. Saint Nicolas in his present form is basically Wodan wearing another outfit and Black Peter goes all the way back to the beings of the Underworld. This documentairy tells the real story of this ancient aspect of our European culture. Please use the knowledge and share the knowledge. This ancient festival survived a lot of suppression already so it will survive this 'woke' era too. https://documentairenet.nl/wild-geraas/

We always say that part of history is written by rulers and profiteers. So is the myth of Columbus as discoverer of America. Already 471 years earlier, Northern European Vikings had set foot on land. Honor where credit is due. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/oct/20/vikings-settled-north-america-1000-years-ago-solar-storm?CMP=soc_567&fbclid=IwAR0bl3RfOzY7x0xnqkdMGOoAGsHJFk_etx9EcFy51-vUVU3f51NTO46eBPI

A werewolf painting I whipped up for the cover of my article in the impending release of Wylder Times publication.
Edit: I deleted the initial post because there was something seriously wrong with the shadows, lighting and colours. It seems PS didn't export the colour profile properly. I just hope this will upload the correct profile.

Leger des Heils - Der Gott, der Eisen wachsen ließ
Der Gott, der Eisen wachsen liess
der wollte keine Knechte,
drum gab er Säbel, Schwert und Spieß
dem Mann in seine Rechte;
drum gab er ihm den kühnen Mut
den Zorn der freien Rede,
daß er bestände bis aufs Blut
bis in den Tod die Fehde
So wollen…

The Anglo-Saxon Sċop and Norse Skald, were the storytellers & keepers of culture, folk-history, and godly lore.
Skalds were highly-honored, and feared, in their ability to compose poetry about people; a poem could help or hurt one’s reputation. When a Skald praised their lords, they were well-rewarded. They were folk’s teachers, historians, advisors, & musicians. From a Skald, children learned their history, literature, and religion.
Sċops were Anglo-Saxon minstrel who, like the Skald, were teachers, historians, advisors, & musicians; teaching the history, literature, and religion of their folk.
The Old English poem ‘Ƿidsið’ (Widsith) is a fictional biography of a Sċop; giving us an idea of the Sċop’s status and role within society, as it surveys of the folk, kings, and heroes of the Northern European Heroic Age.
Interestingly, the poem refers to a group of people called the Wicinga cynn, which may be the earliest mention of the word, ‘Viking’ (lines 47, 59, 80).
