Subject: Correction of Prior Statements Regarding Dubai Tech Tuesdays

Dear Community,

My name is Adel Bhurtun, founder of Money Monday Dubai and Traders Brawl Media. I want to take a moment to address an important matter and offer a public correction of the record.

1. On December 9, 2024, I issued an email to the entire Money Monday Dubai community which stated, in part, “Since our rebranding from Tech Tuesdays, Money Monday Dubai aims to disrupt the typical boring-classroom style of networking while listening to people pitch and sell their companies to you.”

2. To clarify, Money Mondays is not a “rebranding” of (Dubai) Tech Tuesdays. Tech Tuesdays is an event series started and run by Dubai-resident business and technology attorney Gordon Einstein and his partners. I was never a founder, partner or owner of Tech Tuesdays. I should not have claimed or implied that Money Mondays is a “rebranding” of it.

3. Early on I did appear on stage at Tech Tuesdays a few times at Gordon’s invitation, helped them promote their events via Traders Brawl, and produced some media work. All of my efforts were appreciated and positively acknowledged in a public manner by Gordon and his partners.

I retract my prior statements regarding Tech Tuesdays and apologize for any confusion they created. Also, please note that the wording of this communication has been reviewed and agreed to by Gordon, and thus this issue is resolved to our mutual satisfaction.
