It’s been about a week since my video editor started joining my copy trading sessions. 🛡
The first few days were mostly about understanding how everything works in real trading: entries, exits, risk management, and most importantly, discipline.
Now he's starting to get a little better feel for the market rhythm.
We're still maintaining a very conservative approach: small positions and controlled risk. The goal now isn't quick profits, but developing good habits. And frankly, watching someone go through this stage again reminds me of my first few months in trading.
Step by step, he's now gaining real-world experience, not just theory from videos.⚡️

▶️ How I stopped trading and started making more money

👋🏻 Hey, it's Austin. Today I'm going to tell you how I stopped losing money on random trades and learned to trade consciously.
I used to think that the more time I spent on the charts, the more money I would make. I opened the terminal on the subway, checked quotes at lunch and placed trades even at night.
But the result was the opposite: at first I made a lot of stupid trades out of boredom. I liked the feeling of being constantly in the market, watching the price movement. Naturally, it took a huge amount of time every day.
I had to reconsider my approach. I think if you want to make it your additional or even main income, you need to take it seriously, allocate daily time and gradually understand everything.
🔀 What I changed:
- Allocated 2 hours a day just for trading⏳ (10:00-11:00 and 18:00-19:00). No social media, calls or side hustles. Full focus and having a detailed plan for the upcoming trading session.
As a result, the statistics of my account has changed significantly: if 2 months ago I made an average of 50-10 trades per day, now I can make only about 20 trades per day spending 2 times less time.

This change is the very first thing everyone needs to start with. Once you develop a certain pattern in your trading we can already focus much easier even where the situation does not allow it. This can be called experience.
🙄 It is silly to try to trade while you are walking and choosing something on the shelves of the store. Imagine, I thought I could make good financial decisions in such an environment. Maybe not everyone does, but everyone has something that causes you to get distracted anyway.
