Oh I used to know this isn't it related to a colomb? That's a unit of electrons per area if I remember my physics right
brooms are usually a one-time non-disposable investment, however in power stations, they need many.
when a sensor detects a boiler leak, they will tell lower workers to not go near it, and have a highly trained professional slowly approach it, waving a broom in fron of themselves. the high-pressure, 650°C (1200°F) steam will knock the broom head clean off, alerting workers to where the problem is so it can be resolved
A broom is cheap, a person's hand is not. Why design a fancy gadget to detect the high pressure when you can just use the 10 dollar floor sweeper?
I feel like a smoke machine would be a better tool tho since it had like a $0 cost to use and you don't have a projectile getting launched around
Doesn't that seem dangerous to have the broom thing flying around if it's pushed by something strong enough to break off???
i'd assume the pressure would drop off rapidly
