There's an area just outside of the Chicago suburbs that has a huge wind farm, and I distinctly remember that every time we took a trip to the city as kids, me and my siblings would always want to look out the window at all of the windmills. this is really cool, let me explain why:
At beat 1 the E♭ - A♭ - E♭ sets you up for D - G - D, a classic instance of sequence. However, there is another G, which, since it is repeating a note you just heard, your brain will automatically group it in with the notes before it, making a group of 4 instead of 3, which blurs the line between beats and makes the measures feel very out of meter from the rest of the song even though they're still in 4/4.
