I think most people avoid talking about their passions because they get the sense no one is interested and no one wants to listen, so they just get more and more apologetic about it until they just stop talking about their favorite things, they stop sharing experiences and emotions and that's so, so sad. We don't appreciate love and we make people feel guilty for being passionate about the wonderful things they literally live for.
So please, if someone trusts you enough to tell you about their favorite things, please appreciate it, maybe you won't like those things like they do, maybe you're really not interested at all, but that passion, that love is what makes us want to stay alive and wake up everyday, so let people enjoy things and allow them to share their experiences with you.
And of course, if someone needs it, I'm always here. I know I'm not online often and I'm busy and I'm not much of a conversationalist, but I can try. No one should feel apologetic about what they love, unless what they love harms someone else.
