Hunter Biden indicted on federal firearms charges

Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on federal firearms charges, the latest and weightiest step yet in a long-running investigation into the president’s son.

Biden is accused of lying about his drug use when he bought a firearm in October 2018.

President Joe Biden's son has also been under investigation for his business dealings. The special counsel overseeing the case has indicated that charges of failure to pay taxes on time could be filed in Washington or in California, where he lives.

They only touch the tip of the iceberg. Would love to have those foreign lobbying and money laundering cases prosecuted.

George Soros funds a 'TikTok army' aimed at brainwashing Gen Z

The internet, especially the most controversial part of it, Tik Tok, is home to a real army of leftist influencers promoting all the most radical leftist ideas to the vulnerable Gen Z: defunding the police, racial justice, climate change.

Their work is funded by the nonprofit organization Accelerate Action Inc. The nonprofit is the sole funder of Gen Z for Change and has given at least $300,000 to the organization in 2022. Accelerate Action Inc. itself has received funding from none other than George Soros, who gave the nonprofit $5.5 million in 2020 and 2021.

Gen Z for Change connects over 500 influencers and activists across TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram and YouTube, with a combined audience of over 500 million people. And not all of them know that Gen Z for Change was formerly known as TikTok for Biden. Influencers have become frequent guests at the White House and feel proud to promote Biden's values to a younger audience.

None of this is surprising at all.

U.S. Navy discontinued online recruiting initiative featuring drag queen

The U.S. Navy confirmed it has discontinued an online recruiting initiative featuring an enlisted drag queen that was aimed at bringing new sailors into the service.

The Navy brought on Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley — an active-duty drag queen who goes by the stage name Harpy Daniels and identifies as non-binary — to be a “Navy Digital Ambassador.” The Digital Ambassador Pilot Program, which ran from October 2022 to March 2023, was reportedly “designed to explore the digital environment to reach a wide range of potential candidates” for military recruitment.

Erik Raven, the under secretary of the Navy, confirmed that the branch’s Digital Ambassador Pilot Program “will not be continued.”

“The Navy learned lessons from the pilot program that will inform our digital engagement and outreach going forward,” Raven wrote. “Our digital outreach efforts will maintain the important distinction between Sailors’ official activities and their personal lives.”

Did they really have to screw up so badly to learn this important lesson? How many drag queens did they think were out there looking to join the Navy?

Senate ditches dress code

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Monday that staff for the chamber’s Sergeant-at-Arms — the Senate’s official clothes police — will no longer enforce a dress code on the Senate floor.

This is a lucky turn for Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman who has been wearing shorts as he goes about his duties.

“There has been an informal dress code that was enforced,” Schumer said in a statement. “Senators are able to choose what they wear on the Senate floor. I will continue to wear a suit.”

💵 US national debt hits $33 trillion for first time in history

The national debt hit $33.04 trillion as of Monday afternoon, according to new data published by the Treasury Department. By comparison, just four decades ago, the national debt hovered around $907 billion. $1 trillion has been added to the debt in the last 3 months alone.

Interest payments on the national debt are projected to be the fastest-growing part of the federal budget over the next three decades.

Payments are expected to triple from nearly $475 billion in fiscal year 2022 to a stunning $1.4 trillion in 2032. By 2053, the interest payments are projected to surge to $5.4 trillion. To put that into perspective, that will be more than the U.S. spends on Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and all other mandatory and discretionary spending programs.

Debt held by the public, meanwhile, recently surpassed $26 trillion.

NYC may remove George Washington statues

NYC city council's Cultural Affairs Committee is reportedly set to host a public hearing on an initiative to nix any type of city property that "depict[s] a person who owned enslaved persons or directly benefited economically from slavery, or who participated in systemic crimes against indigenous peoples or other crimes against humanity."

This set of standards would of course mean that figures such as European explorer Christopher Columbus and America’s first president, George Washington would promptly have their statues removed throughout the city.

Biden's climate agenda at the UN General Assembly

President Joe Biden mistakenly says he wants to "accelerate the climate crisis" with the help of China, speaking at the UN General Assembly.

Well, that sounds pretty honest of him. What's more troubling is his new climate initiative involving young people.

We've already written about the activities of the Gen Z for Change non-profit, formerly known as TikTok for Biden.

Now Biden plans to create another group to push his agenda, this time specializing on climate change. Biden's new "American Climate Corps" will mobilize 20,000 young people for the "frontlines of clean energy and climate resilience."

This paid training program will direct young people to "fight climate crisis."

Biden knows that if you can no longer scare the older generation with climate change, you can always put young sensitive minds under pressure.
