Unbelievable.
New Zealand's Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has the audacity to claim his government never mandated vaccines:
โIn terms of the vaccine mandates, I acknowledge that it was a challenging time for people but they ultimately made their own choices. There was no compulsory vaccination. People made their own choices.โ
Hipkins was the country's minister when New Zealand instituted mandatory vaccinations for health workers, military, teachers, university students, police officers, travel, many sports, and small businesses.

Oprah and the Rock would like for you, the public, to donate to help the residents of Maui. They have a combined net worth of $2.8 billion. The two of them kickstarted their fund with $10 million but now theyโre calling on everyone else to donate the rest.
How very kind of them to ask for money from a public thatโs already living paycheck to paycheck when they could literally fund the entire charity by themselves, or at the very least offer to match any future donations.
If Oprah's track record for past charities is any indicator, I'd be worried about where the money's actually going.

๐บ๐ธCredit card and car loan defaults hit 10-year high
Americans are defaulting on their credit cards and auto loans at levels not seen since the financial crisis.
This year, credit card delinquencies have hit 3.8%, while 3.6% have defaulted on their car loans, according to credit agency Equifax. Both figures are the highest in more than 10 years.
Bidenomics gets people into dire financial circumstances. Nevertheless, the government is once again talking about a new COVID-19 wave and masking. All to distract people from the real problems.

๐บ๐ธ Judge reinstates Georgia's ban on puberty blockers, hormone therapies for minors
A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that Georgia's ban on puberty blockers and hormone therapy for minors with gender dysphoria can be reinstated, citing a recent federal appeals court decision that upheld a similar Alabama law.
U.S. District Judge Sarah Geraghty, an appointee of President Joe Biden, had on Aug. 20 issued a preliminary injunction temporarily halting Georgia's ban, which was scheduled to take effect on July 1.
However, on the same day the injunction was ordered, the 11th Circuit of Appeals ruled that a similar ban in Alabama could proceed. The 11th Circuit hears appeals from Georgia as well.
Georgia's law bans puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgeries for minors. The law also strips medical professionals who violate it of their licenses.
This is what protecting children from harm actually looks like.

๐ฌ๐ง Just Stop Oil protests cost Met police more than ยฃ9 million
According to police data, dealing with the Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion activists between April and June this year have cost the Met over ยฃ9 million ($11,2 million).
Nearly 24,000 police officers were involved. Their overtime work cost ยฃ1.2 million. Police officers from other regions had to be brought in to deal with the activists, costing the police ยฃ16,266 in living expenses over three months. The four-day Extinction Rebellion protest in April alone cost the Met ยฃ917,000.
At the same time, it is impossible to calculate how much damage climate activists' protests have done to society as a whole: how much damage has been caused to buildings and art objects, how many people have been late for work, how many ambulances have not reached the hospital on time.
These protests are not only pointless, they are economically damaging. The activists have not offered a single reasonable solution that does not involve a complete abandonment of traditional energy sources.

๐NYC Mayor Adams sees no end to the migrant crisis
According to New York City Mayor Eric Adams 10,000 migrants come to NYC every month.
โLet me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don't see an ending to this,โ he said. โThis issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City.โ
It's funny to watch people who were openly pro-migration now suffer the consequences of their actions.

University of Arizona nursing school is teaching future nurses that 3-year-olds can know they are transgender.
Theyโre also being taught to start questioning patients as young as 3 about their gender.
I thought that shouldn't happen in a sane society. Might as well ask about their preferred alcoholic beverage.

Renowned criminology professor who 'proved' systemic racism fired for faking data, studies retracted
A renowned criminology professor who "proved" that racism is systemic in Americaโs law enforcement and American society has been fired for faking data and his studies have now been retracted.
Eric Stewart, 51, a now former criminology professor at Florida State University in Tallahassee, is now out of work due to โextreme negligenceโ in his research. According to Google Scholar, Stewart and his work were cited over 8,500 times by other researchers.
Stewart, who was a vice president and fellow at the American Society of Criminology, which honored him as one of four highly distinguished criminologists in 2017, was fired after nearly 2 decades of his data was found to have โfalse results.โ

X sues California over new social media transparency laws
A state law known as Assembly Bill 587 sets new transparency requirements for social media companies, including how they police misinformation, hate speech and extremism.
X (Twitter) is suing California, alleging it violates its free speech rights under the US constitutionโs first amendment and Californiaโs state constitution. The company also claims that the true purpose of the law is to force social media to censor content the government finds undesirable.
