Ben & Jerry’s claims 'US exists on stolen Indigenous land'

Ben & Jerry’s has called on the US to return “stolen Indigenous land” in their Fourth of July message.

On Independence Day, the ice cream company tweeted: "The United States was founded on stolen indigenous land. This Fourth of July, let’s commit to returning it."

On their website, the company wrote that July 4 festivities and celebrations can "distract from an essential truth about this nation’s birth."

They want to go down with Bud Light so badly!

However, this is not the company's first attempt at being progressive. Back in 2020, Ben & Jerry’s already showed its true colors by launching a podcast encouraging listeners to "dismantle systemic racism" and white supremacy. Even ice cream is political these days. 😰

Resumes including ‘they/them’ pronouns are more likely to be overlooked, new report finds

A business resource platform conducted research by sending two identical phantom resumes to 180 job postings that were open to entry-level candidates in an effort to test whether having gender-neutral pronouns impacted how employers perceive resumes.”

The phantom resume including pronouns received 8% less interest than the one without and fewer interview and phone screening invitations.

The same platform found that over 80% of nonbinary people believe that identifying as nonbinary would hurt their job search.

Well, first of all, I would expect that a "non-binary" resume would get 100% less interest than a resume without pronouns, because who would voluntarily make their company put up with non-binary crap and fear lawsuits every single day? The second interesting point is the victim mentality. Most non-binary job seekers are afraid of being overlooked, but that's a problem they created themselves.

If you want to draw attention to yourself by falling prey to gender ideology, don't be upset that not everyone will want to play your game.

America's largest teachers union, the National Education Association, just published a list of 11 books as "great summer reads". Among those are "White Fragility" and "Gender Queer". That's right, the NEA endorses racist anti-white screeds and a book with graphic oral sex images as great summer reading.

Dissolve the teacher unions.

Twitter issues cease & desist letter to Meta over new social media platform Threads

Elon Musk is threatening to sue Meta over "systematic, willful, and unlawful misappropriation" of Twitter's trade secrets and IP, as well as scraping of Twitter's data, in regards to Meta's new text-based app Threads, which resembles Twitter.

Twitter accused Meta of hiring dozens of former Twitter employees who still have access to the social media platform’s trade secrets.

"Competition is fine, cheating is not," Musk said.

Meta seems to have felt that with Musk's purchase of Twitter, the liberal world lost its hold over the platform. Conservative voices have become clearer and freer, and some members of the radical 'left' have left the platform altogether.

And so Meta decided to simply copy Twitter to give the left a platform again that can be controlled according to progressive policies.

Kamala Harris: "Culture is — it is a reflection of our moment and our time. Right? And present culture is the way we express how we're feeling about the moment and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment..."

This definition of "culture" is no better than the liberal definition of "woman."

🇺🇸🇨🇦 U.S. Indigenous nation asks Ben and Jerry's to return the 'stolen' native land

Ice cream maker Ben and Jerry's had a lot of fun on Independence Day. The company posted on Twitter: “this 4th of July, it’s high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it."

On Canada Day, just three days prior, Ben and Jerry's also took to Twitter, posting “O Canada, our home on stolen land.”

Now, a U.S. Indigenous nation is asking that the company start by returning the 'stolen' land on which its Vermont headquarters are located. Nulhegan Band is one of four tribes recognized by the state of Vermont as being the descendants of the region’s original Abenaki inhabitants.

“We are always interested in reclaiming the stewardship of our lands throughout our traditional territories,” chief of the Nulhegan Band of The Coosuk Abenaki Nation, said.

Your move, Ben and Jerry's!

Karine Jean-Pierre tried to misrepresent the numbers on the economy under Biden, but did a bad job of it

▪️White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre posted some numbers on Twitter, trying to praise Joe Biden for his "good" impact on the economy.

"13.2 million jobs created," Jean-Pierre boasted in her post, adding that inflation has been cut in half.

▪️Twitter users quickly took to Community Notes to point out how misrepresented those numbers were.

"It is misleading to count people returning back to work, after the pandemic, as new jobs," the notes read, providing the numbers. There are currently 160,994,000 people employed compared to 158,749,000 pre-pandemic, which is only about 2 million new jobs. This is not even close to the 13 million figure.

As for inflation, it has indeed been cut in half, but only compared to the peak in 2022. In reality, inflation has nearly tripled since Biden took office.

So much for Bidenomics.
