6 people died in a school shooting in Nashville. Media is struggling to identify shooter's gender

▪️Another school shooting took place yesterday in the U.S. This time at Nashville Christian school.

A 28-year-old female killed at least three children and three adults before the police managed to shoot her down. The kids were only 9 y.o.

▪️Police describes the shooting as a targeted attack. After they have searched the home of the shooter, they found “a manifesto” along with maps of the school drawn in detail that included points of entry.

This is clearly a hate crime against the changes taking place in Nashville. The state is adopting new child protection laws, tightening the requirements for gender transitioning and surgeries for children.

▪️The media jumped on the fact that the shooter was transgender, and now they are spending time trying to figure out the shooter's "actual" gender.

Instead of discussing mental illness epidemic among young people and radicalization of trans-activists, some media are apologizing or blaming others for misgendering the shooter. Just look at the NYT's statement, attempting to clear up “confusion” about the shooter’s gender.

❗️There should be no confusion. A person who shoots children does not deserve the right to have "preferred pronouns." End of discussion.

🐤Changes are coming to Twitter soon

Elon Musk
announces changes to Twitter's verification and recommendation policy.

Only verified accounts will be able to:
be recommended on the For You page
vote in polls

Musk says the change is necessary to fight bots on the platform. But it must also have something to do with the fact that Twitter is not making any profits.

Right now the minimum cost of Twitter Blue (which includes a blue check-mark) is $8 per month.

🏴🤝🏳️‍⚧️ — To no one's surprise, following the terror attack on the Covenant School by a transgender militant, netizens and far-left activists began to show their "sympathy" for the militant, with some suggesting and implying that such an attack was "understandable".

Among the dozens of posts, some of them implied that the culpability behind the attack was "anti-transgender activism" existing in "far-right circles of American media", that such attack was nothing more, but a "demonstration of oppressed minorities striking back" at the "Homophobic legislation pushed by Conservatives in US"

— "If you back a wounded animal into a corner, you can’t be surprised when it bites", said one in defense of the neutralized terrorist

America is gradually losing the values it used to be proud of

The recent poll results, published be the Wall Street Journal, show a very grim trend.

Patriotism, religion, having children and being involved in the community have all lost value in two decades among a large group of Americans.

▪️In the late 90-s these values were important to a majority of Americans - 60-70 %.

▪️Now there are half as many people who state that these values are important to them - 30-40 %.

The numbers differ even more if we look at the demographics of the respondents.

Only 23% of adults under age 30 said in the survey that patriotism and having children was very important to them.

Culture wars are real, and the U.S. is losing one.

The World Bank says it will cost $411 bn (so far) to rebuild Ukraine

A World Bank report has estimated it will cost Ukraine $411bn over the next 10 years to recover and rebuild.

The report states that this number should be considered as minimum. The needs will continue to rise as long as the war continues. In fact, the cost has already risen from the $349 bn estimated back in September.

Do those who send weapons and money to Ukraine to prolong the war realize this?

They probably do. They just don't think that they will be the ones paying.

A transurrection (kind of) took place at the Kentucky State Capitol yesterday

Republican lawmakers have recently enacted a sweeping ban on sex changes for minors after overriding the veto of the Democratic governor.

Under Senate Bill 150, doctors are prohibited from providing hormone therapy or other gender-affirming treatments to anyone under the age of 18.

In addition to re-enacting a Game of Thrones scene, activists also staged a ‘die-in’ at the State Capitol.

They even had their own trans-Shaman 😂

Trump ‘hush money’ grand jury taking a month-long break

The Manhattan grand jury that’s been hearing evidence against former President Donald Trump in the Stormy Daniels “hush money” case plans to recess for the next month.

The break, reportedly, was pre-planned. Court sources cautioned the schedule was subject to change.

The move pushes back any potential indictment of Trump, 76, in connection with the $130,000 that his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid Daniels shortly before the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump in 2006.

All that fuss about nothing. The PR campaign looking good so far.

Musk urges pause on AI, citing 'risks to society'

Elon Musk and a group of artificial intelligence experts and industry executives are calling for a six-month pause in developing systems more powerful than OpenAI's newly launched GPT-4, in an open letter citing potential risks to society.

"Powerful AI systems should be developed only once we are confident that their effects will be positive and their risks will be manageable," said the letter issued by the Future of Life Institute.

The non-profit is primarily funded by the Musk Foundation, as well as London-based group Founders Pledge, and Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

"AI stresses me out," Musk said earlier this month. He is, though, one of the co-founders of OpenAI and his carmaker Tesla uses AI for an autopilot system.
