‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ director defends drag for kids during Oscars speech
“Everything Everywhere All At Once” co-director Daniel Scheinert used his Oscars acceptance speech on Sunday night to take a stand for dressing in drag.
While most of the 95th Annual Academy Awards was politically neutral, there were a few jokes and references made during the ceremony, including Scheinert’s impassioned defense of drag after winning the best director category.
“We want to dedicate this to the mommies, all the mommies in the world, to our moms. Specifically my mom and dad … thank you for not squashing my creativity when I was making really disturbing horror films, or really perverted comedy films, or dressing in drag as a kid, which is a threat to nobody!” Scheinert said.
Wouldn't expect less from Hollywoke😡.

💰Silicon Valley Bank donated $73 million to BLM-related groups, social justice causes
A database from the conservative Claremont Institute shows the SVB bank, which collapsed on Friday, donated around $73,450,000 to the BLM movement and other social justice-related causes.
A report from August 2020 highlighted the fact that around two-thirds of the bank’s workforce met the "diversity" criteria. Another report that year touted SVB’s achievements in supporting minorities.
This is what happens when you prioritize the woke agenda over actually doing business.

✈️LATAM Brasil launches all-female pilot hiring process
LATAM Airlines Brasil has launched an exclusive selection process for hiring female pilots. The company is looking to promote gender equity, focusing on diversity and inclusion, and expects to fill at least 50 vacancies by December 2023.
Hiring based on diversity, not merit.

I came across these two videos today.
The first one shows Ukranian soldiers burning the Quran and cutting meat on it.
The other one shows Russian soldiers praying before a battle.
It's no secret that the American media doesn't even try to report on such inconvinient issues.
But I wonder what the Arabs will say when Ukraine asks for money again? 🤔

Jamie Lee Curtis will refer to her Oscar statue as 'they/them'
Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis began sobbing uncontrollably during an early morning appearance on the Today show on Tuesday as she watched video footage of her acceptance speech for the first time.
Jamie - who appeared on the show via video link from Los Angeles - then held up her Oscar to show the camera, before revealing that she has decided her statue is non-binary and will be referred to as 'they/them' in honor of her transgender daughter, Ruby.
What did I just read?

Meta to lay off 10,000 more employees after canning 11,000 in November
Meta (Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg just announced in a blog post that his company will be laying off 10,000 employees in order to slim down and trim expenses. This follows a prior round of layoffs in November, in which over 11,000 workers – roughly 13% of Meta's entire staff – was shot.
On top of that, Meta plans to nix 5,000 open roles that it hasn't filled yet.
It looks like we are already in a recession.

Biden demands Chinese company sell off TikTok or face US ban
The Biden administration has demanded that TikTok's Chinese owners sell their stakes in the social media app or be banned in the US.
US officials and lawmakers have raised concerns that TikTok's user data could be given to China's communist government.
Last week, the White House supported legislation from a dozen senators that would grant the administration the ability to ban TikTok and other foreign-based technologies if they pose national security threats.
Earlier this month, the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee voted along party lines on a bill that would require the administration to ban TikTok and other subsidiaries of ByteDance.
TikTok’s Chief Executive Shou Zi Chew is scheduled to appear before Congress next week.

High school football coach fired for praying on field after games awarded $2M settlement, gets his job back
The Bremerton School Board accepted a $1.75 million settlement with Joe Kennedy, a high school football coach that was fired for praying on the field. Kennedy will also be reinstated as a coach for the upcoming season.
The school board voted unanimously in favor of the settlement on Thursday.
Kennedy started coaching at the school in 2008. He began to regularly pray at the 50-yard line of the football field after games. Some students began to join him over time. The school district later found out and asked Kennedy to stop in 2015. Kennedy continued praying at midfield with anyone that chose to join him, to which the school district responded by placing him on paid leave, and eventually fired him.
⚖️ The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favor of Kennedy in June, citing Kennedy's right to pray as protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
