Hulu docuseries "The 1619 Project" puts a price tag on slavery reparations for black Americans

The "1619 Project" series’ sixth and final episode features William Darity Jr., a Duke University professor and proponent of social “equity.”

Darity estimates that each individual should receive about $350,000 in reparations. Since there are 40 million black-American descendants of slavery out of a total of 45 million black people in the United States, the total bill would be approximately $14 trillion dollars.

🔹South Korea just announced that their current birthrate is at 0.78%, a new record for the world's lowest fertility rate.

This has a significant effect on the nation: daycares are being converted into nursing homes, OB-GYNs are closing while funeral parlors are opening.

The government has tried multiple social programs and campaigns to get their population to reproduce, including pouring over $210 billion into programs incentivizing procreation. But clearly the programs have not worked.

🔹The entire world is experiencing low birth rates far below replacement numbers. According to the United Nations, the global birthrate is currently at 1.76%, but replacement numbers need to be at 2.1%.

A series of anti-war protests took place over the weekend, with the main rally in Washington, D.C., supported by "sister rallies" in other cities across the U.S and in Munich, Germany.

Several thousand people attended the main rally to express their strong belief: we must avoid nuclear war at all costs. Despite different stances on other issues, they came together to say they don't support the warmongers.

Former State Department speakers, politicians, journalists, and activists - Tulsy Gabbard, Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, Wyatt Reed and others - spoke at the protest, calling for anti-war unity.

The rally did not receive extensive coverage in the mainstream media. Occasional pieces and reports describe the protest as a "small one and a weird one," greatly downplaying the number of protesters. They try to promote the idea that the protest only attracted a bunch of anti-vaxxers, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists.

It's astounding that the far lest are boycotting the anti-nuclear war rally. Obviously, we should be able to put aside our ideological differences when it comes to nuclear war.

Adult members of Generation Z, those born between 1997 and 2004 who were aged 18 to 25 in 2022, are the most likely subgroup to identify as LGBT, with 19.7 percent doing so. The rate is 11.2 percent among millennials and 3.3% or less among older generations, according to the Gallup survey report.

Gallup interviewed more than 10,000 U.S. adults, and asked respondents if they identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or something else, “allowing them to choose multiple identities.”

Britain’s Prevent program was founded to support counter-terrorism efforts, but has gradually swayed into a focus on only extremists from Islam and “far-right” ideological mindsets.

Prevent was consulted by activist groups such as Hope not Hate, which believes that people who voted for Brexit and are against illegal immigrants are far-right.

Prevents’ “Research Information and Communications Unit” (RICU) has previously listed historical texts as red flags. Essentially, if someone is reading “1984,” or works by Lewis, Tolkien, Aldous Huxley, or Joseph Conrad, they should be suspected of being a far-right extremist terrorist.

The gay-activist Maryland mayor arrested on child pornography charges

Patrick Wojahn, a gay-activist Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, who has branded himself as something of a role model for LGBTQ youth, was arrested Thursday morning on dozens of counts of possessing and distributing child pornography, totaling 56 child sex offenses.

Wojahn, a regular White House guest and the first openly gay man to take mayoral office in his city, is charged with 40 counts of possession of child sexual exploitative material and 16 felony counts of distribution of child porn.
