❗️TWITTER FILES: PART 2❗️

On December 8th Bari Weiss released a twitter thread on how Twitter practiced 'shadow banning' and 'blacklisting' of certain tweets and users, before Elon Musk's takeover.

So-called 'Twitter files' are assessments of internal documents of the company, carried out by a group of journalists.

Weiss shared screenshots from Twitter's internal censorship tools, which prove what many have been already suspecting.

Several teams of Twitter employees have been working on:

▪️building blacklists
▪️preventing certain tweets or accounts from trending
▪️limiting visibility of certain accounts or even trending topic

The team has routinely put different accounts under 'Trends Blacklist', 'Search Blacklist', 'Do Not Amplify' tags and performed 'VF' - visibility filtering - without user's knowledge.

The special 'SIP-PES' (Site Integrity Policy, Policy Escalation Support) group has worked on high profile and politically sensitive cases.

One of the accounts that fell under the SIP-PES supervision is Libs of TikTok (1.6 M followers). The account has a 'Do Not Take Action on User Without Consulting With SIP-PES' mark.

The list of accounts that suffered from Twitter's shadow banning practices include:
- Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a COVID lockdowns opponent
- Dan Bongino, Fox News host
- Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist, Turning Point USA founder.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Democrats and 'the left' have long refused to acknowledge Twitter's meddling in politics, culture, and health issues, and regarded it as another 'conspiracy theory'. And now 'Twitter files' reveal, that the company has created a platform, that has been restricting and pushing back conservative ideas.

So much for freedom of speech.

Another scandal surrounding Biden's Official Sam Brinton

An arrest warrant has been issued for controversial Biden administration official Sam Brinton. Allegedly, Brinton has stolen luggage at Las Vegas airport. The luggage is valued at around $2325.

Last month, he has already been accused of stealing luggage at Minneapolis airport.

Brinton is a nuclear engineer, working at the Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy. He is also a gender fluid 'pup handler' LGBTQ-activist. Last week Brinton hosted a 'Spanking seminar' at Kink Conference.

I wonder which merit earned him the position at the White House

P.S. the non-binary Biden official claims to have "spanked over 2,000 cute butts" within the depths of a Washington DC "dungeon"

I'm afraid no one's butt is safe these days 😟

Well, at least it seems like not a single non-binary employee was fired 😅(or any other gender out of 100+ genders)

The internet disputes whether the White House should have exchanged Paul Whelan instead of Brittney Griner

▪️"I'm happy that Brittney is going home today and that Trevor went home when he did. But I don't understand why I'm still here. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go home, I just need an airplane to come and get me" - Paul Whelan, former U.S. marine

Karine Jean-Pierre has actually answered Whelan's question on why he isn't coming home.

▪️"Brittney is more than an athlete, more than an Olympian, she is an important role model and inspiration to millions of Americans, particularly the LGBTQI+ Americans and women of color" - Karine Jean-Pierre.

The country is not interested in you these days unless you are a member of at least a few minorities. The more 'diverse' the better, the more 'oppressed' the better.

❗️TWITTER FILES: PART 3❗️

On December 9th Matt Taibbi released another series of Twitter internal files as a part of 'Twitter files' investigation, which cover October 2020 - January 6th period of time.

The screenshots of employees Slack chats show that Twitter was heavily involved in censoring content during 2020 election and worked in coordination with the government.

The main takes from the new files release:

▪️Twitter closely monitored Trump’s tweets and made decisions about whether to censor the president or add warning labels to his tweets

▪️Several high-rank Twitter employees appear to admit that the platform was meeting officials from the FBI and DHS

▪️Tweets from the political Left, which would have had action taken against them if they were from the political 'Right', were largely left alone

▪️In early December Twitter lowered visibility of Trump's tweets, long before January 6th events

"This project was preposterous yet its leaders were unable to see this, having become infected with groupthing, coming to believe – sincerely – that it was Twitter's responsibility to control, as much as possible, what people could talk about, how often, and with whom" - Taibbi writes in his tweet.

The next Twitter files release will show how Twitter was involved in January 2021 events.

UK government challenges Scottish gender change law

The Scottish Parliament is pushing for a bill, that will shorten the timescale for anyone who wants to obtain a gender recognition certificate, a document allowing someone to change their gender on their birth certificate, from two years to three months.

The Westminster government considers refusing to recognise certificates issued under the new Scottish system and has no plans to move in the same direction as the Scottish government.

Scottish government's proposals currently raise a number of clear concerns, including potential increase of violence against women and girls.

❗️TWITTER FILES: PART 4❗️

The new 'Twitter files' released by Michael Shellenberger cover the removal of Donald Trump on January 7th.

The files show, how Twitter executives (Yoel Roth and Vijaya Gadde specifically):

▪️create justification to ban Trump

▪️seek a change of policy for Trump exclusively

▪️express no concern for the free speech or democracy implications of a ban

Twitter has also taken action to deamplify tweets and accounts, sharing the "stopthesteal" hashtag and looked to ban Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Florida, even though it "doesn't quite fit anywhere" as a test case.

The only concern expressed within Twitter over banning Trump came from a junior employee. However, we see that it does not affect the course of events:

"This might be an unpopular opinion but one off ad hoc decisions like this that don’t appear rooted in policy are imho a slippery slope and reflect an alternatively equally dictatorial problem. This now appears to be a fiat by an online platform CEO with a global presence that can gatekeep speech for the entire world - which seems unsustainable" - unknown junior employee.
