U.S. government spent over $118,000 to learn if Thanos could really snap his fingers

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul took to the Senate floor to slam wasteful big government spending, highlighting how the National Science Foundation granted $118,971 of taxpayer money to a group of Georgia Tech students so they could learn if the Marvel villain Thanos, while wearing the fictional Infinity Gauntlet, could really snap his fingers.

"They apparently hired some dude to wear metal gloves and then try to snap his fingers. You know what they found out that it's impossible to make a snapping sound with metal fingers." - Rand Paul said.

"For the past few years, I've been fascinated with how we can snap our fingers. It's really an extraordinary physics puzzle right at our fingertips that hasn't been investigated closely," - said Saad Bhamla, one of team members.

James Cameron cut 10 minutes of gun scenes from the new "Avatar", not willing to 'fetishize' firearms

"I actually cut about 10 minutes of the movie targeting gunplay action. I wanted to get rid of some of the ugliness, to find a balance between light and dark. You have to have conflict, of course. Violence and action are the same thing, depending on how you look at it. This is the dilemma of every action filmmaker, and I’m known as an action filmmaker." - Cameron said.

James Cameron keeps fighting the 'toxic' masculinity 😅

All lawmakers and staffers with House-issued mobile phones have been ordered to remove TikTok by Szpindor.

🇵🇱LGBT activists praise Spice Girls singer Mel C for canceling her Poland New Year's Eve show

Followers were convinced that she decided to pull out because of Poland’s anti-LGBT stance.

The show is being staged by Polish state broadcaster TVP. They said the Spice Girls member pulled out "under the pressure of online comments."

Isn't it wonderful to live in constant fear of being cancelled by your woke fans?

Attacks on churches in the United States nearly tripled in the last four years

At least 420 acts of hostility against churches occurred between January 2018 and September 2022 across 45 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., 137 of which in 2022 only.

Most of the incidents (77%) were categorized as "vandalism" with 342 occurrences. The report also found 58 "arson" incidents, 12 "gun-related" incidents, 11 "bomb-threats," and 19 "other" types of incidents in the four years.

Spikes in church attacks seem to follow rises in political tension. This happened during the protests and concurrent riots related to George Floyd's death in May 2020 and following the leak of the Dobbs decision in May 2022.

Overall, acts of hostility trended upward during the five-year reporting period. The first nine months of 2022 saw more than double the number of reported acts of hostility against churches that occurred in the entirety of 2018.

"The Witcher: Blood Origin" Netflix series is making headlines for having a shockingly low audience score on Rotten Tomatoes

The new fantasy series was released on Christmas day and since then has earned a 33% critic rating and 10% audience rating on the site. Fans are not impressed with the prequel.

While some fans blame the historically bad Rotten Tomatoes scores on review bombing, the practice of people writing multiple negative reviews to intentionally bring the score down, this is unlikely the problem with "Blood Origin." A Forbes reviewer noted how other popular titles which were supposedly review-bombed didn’t have audience scores as bad as 10%.

This is what happens when you prioritize your agenda over a good scenario.

Chemours director resigns over 'woke culture'

Bradley Bell
, member of the Chemours board of directors resigned and criticized the chemical company for wanting to make a "woke" cultural statement by including abortion coverage and gender transitioning procedures in its benefits plan for employees.

Bell said it was morally and ethically wrong. "I cannot reconcile my participation on the Chemours board with my beliefs and commitments to other organizations promoting the opposing viewpoint."

"Chemours management mentioned that this 'benefit' was something that employees had indicated as being important to them. Is that truly the case, or is the company simply wanting to make a statement in our increasingly 'woke' culture?"

Good question.

Drag shows in Florida keep performing for kids despite DeSantis warnings

An explicit, all-ages "Drag Queen Christmas" show was staged on Wednesday night in Orlando at the Plaza Live.

One performer dressed in massive prosthetic breasts for a sexed-up version of the classic children's classic on reindeer games, renaming it "Screwdolph."

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has previously issued a warning to venues not to allow minors to attend drag shows that they host.

Outside the venue, about 30 protesters condemned the event. From behind a row of police officers, far-left activists called them "Nazis" and waved banners saying that "Drag can be family friendly."

In what universe is this supposed to be family friendly?

If you are 'anti-mask' you are a 'white supremacist'

New Yorker wrote an article on People’s C.D.C., which is a coalition of academics, doctors, activists, and artists who believe that the U.S. Covid restrictions have become too lax.

One of the opinions shared among the coalition is that resistance to wearing masks is most common among white people. Lucky Tran, who organizes the coalition’s media team, recently tweeted a YouGov survey supporting this, and wrote that “a lot of anti-mask sentiment is deeply embedded in white supremacy.”

At this point, what isn't seen as a sign of white supremacy?

Transgender boxing category will be introduced in 2023

Mauricio Sulaiman, the World Boxing council president, said he believes it’s time for the sport to address issues of "safety and inclusion."

Sulaiman added that the nearly 60-year-old organization created the rules for women’s boxing, "so the dangers of a man fighting a woman will never happen because of what we are going to put in place."

"In boxing, a man fighting a woman must never be accepted regardless of gender change. There should be no grey area around this, and we want to go into it with transparency and the correct decisions." - Sulaiman

Egg prices in the U.S. jumped 49% in the past year, more than any other grocery category

Since early this year, a deadly avian flu has been reducing poultry flocks — specifically turkeys and egg-laying hens. That’s one reason for the unrelenting increase in prices. But the situation has been exacerbated by elevated feed and energy costs for producers, in addition to high demand in the supermarket.

But everything's fine. No. Just great.

'The New Republic' named Matt Walsh 'Transphobe of the Year'.

🔹The magazine writes:
"The right-wing writer and podcaster has raised his profile by spreading grotesque conspiracy theories about 'grooming' and pedophilia in the LGBTQ community".

This year Daily Wire produced a documentary "What is a woman?" The documentary, narrated by Matt Walsh, shows how deeply flawed gender ideology is and features multiple interviews with the LGBTQ+ activists, who can't even give a clear definition of a 'woman'.

🔹Matt Walsh himself reacted to the news:
"Extremely honored to have earned the Transphobe of the Year award from [the new republic]. I want to thank everyone who supported me in pursuit of this goal. I don’t do it for the accolades, but I’m grateful and humbled to receive them."

If you haven't seen the "What is a woman?" documentary, you definitely should.

A Texas flight attendant was found with enough fentanyl taped on her body to kill over 600,000 people

Terese L White, 41, pleaded guilty in federal court, admitting she abused her privileges as a flight attendant to smuggle the deadly drug through Transportation Security Administration screenings.

She attempted to skip a TSA screening using the Known Crewmember line, which speeds up screening for airline crew.

Despite waiting in that line she was selected for regular screening, which was when TSA officers discovered the concealed packages taped to her abdomen.

She initially told law enforcement that the package was 'not what you think,' claiming it was a weight loss device she received from a colleague.

How many lives could have been lost to fentanyl if this woman hadn't been chosen for screening?

Almost 40 percent of students identify as LGBTQ at liberal arts colleges

"Liberal arts colleges are the least politically diverse. Many have almost no conservatives, and thus very low viewpoint diversity. But they have high sexual diversity, at nearly 40 percent LGBT," states the report by the Center for the Study of Partisanship and Ideology.

The analyzed data also reveals that overall 23 percent of U.S. college students identify as LGBTQ—a number similar to a Gallup poll which found 20.8 percent of Generation Z identified as LGBT in February 2022.

🇬🇧Men's prison in the UK is slammed by inspectors for not providing make-up and women's clothing to its transgender inmates

HM Inspectorate for Prisons found the jail was lagging behind with 'inadequate support to minority groups'.

The inspection report noted: "Prisoners identifying as non-binary, gender fluid or transgender were consulted, but not regularly. Prisoners told us they had yet to see any changes as a result of consultation."

The inspection also found LGBTQ+ inmates wanted greater opportunities to meet inside the prison, which houses 1,348 people.

New study finds global discrimination against the unvaccinated

The study by Aarhus University in Denmark, covering 21 countries, finds that this behavior is mainly caused by the perception of the unvaccinated as being “free-riders,” which has led to even the emergence of “support for the removal of fundamental rights” of the unvaccinated.

In many cases, vaccinated people did not want close relatives to marry an unvaccinated person, and considered the unvaccinated to be incompetent and untrustworthy.

In the United States, vaccinated people even pleaded for the denial of fundamental rights of unvaccinated people, going as far as demanding segregation by keeping unvaccinated people from moving into their neighborhood or keeping them from expressing their political views on social media without censorship.

South Carolina defines ‘gender’ as ‘biological sex’ in new bill

A new South Carolina bill introduced December 7 has asserted the biological reality of sex.

A proposed bill would leave the decision up to the people of South Carolina in the next election. The amendment, if passed, would narrow the definition of gender to the “biological indication of male or female in the context of reproductive potential or capacity.”

The constitutional amendment, if passed, would add the following text:

"The biological indication of male or female in the context of reproductive potential or capacity, such as sex chromosomes, naturally occurring sex hormones, gonads, and nonambiguous internal and external genitalia present at birth, without regard to an individual’s psychological, chosen, or subjective experience of gender shall constitute a person’s gender for the purposes of this constitution and the laws of this State."
