George Santos (R-NY) might have misrepresented himself as "openly gay" during his campaign, although he had been married to a woman up until he filed paperwork to run for office in 2020. In his biography he did not mention any past marriage to a woman.
Did this guy intentionally pose as 'gay' to have a better chance at getting elected?
Other allegedly false facts from his biography include:
- graduating from Baruch College and New York University
-working at Citigroup and Goldman Sachs
-founding and running a "Friends of Pets United" charity.

Life expectancy in the U.S. declined by 5% last year
The death rate for the U.S. population increased by 5%, cutting life expectancy at birth to 76.4 years in 2021 from 77 years in 2020.
Before the pandemic, in 2019, life expectancy at birth in the U.S. was 78.8 years. The decline in 2020 was the largest since World War II.

California is cutting solar panel subsidies because it says the funds are helping too many rich people
Starting in April 2023, the state commission will slash the money that Californians receive for generating extra electricity with their solar installations by roughly 75%.
The regulators stated that the previous rule, which paid solar users full retail electricity price for excess power, primarily benefitted the wealthy and hurt low-income and "disadvantaged" residents as they are less likely to own solar panels.
Them: please, put up solar panels to save the environment, we'll reward you with some money!
Also them: Oh, by the way, we won't give you any more money. But thanks for that free extra-energy👍

Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, a 45-year-old charity volunteer, was arrested and charged on four counts after she told police she "might" be silently praying near the U.K.’s leading provider of NHS-funded abortion services BPAS Robert Clinic in Kings Norton, Birmingham.
Authorities confronted the woman after receiving complaints from an observer who suspected that Vaughan-Spruce was praying silently in her mind.
Police arrested Vaughan-Spruce on December 6 and subsequently charged her on December 15 with four counts of failing to comply with a Public Space Protection Order in so-called censorship zones.
"Nobody should ever be subject to harassment. But what I did was the furthest thing from harmful. I was exercising my freedom of thought, my freedom of religion, inside the privacy of my own mind." - Vaughan-Spruce said.

The woke update of God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen was created by an American minister.
The new lyrics were sung at the Mayor of Charnwood's carol service and sung on Monday at self-styled 'inclusive church' All Saints with Holy Trinity in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
It only retains the first two lines of the original, which dates back to 17th century England.
The second verse begins:
"God rest you also, women, who by men have been erased, through history ignored and scorned, defiled and displaced."
And the third starts:
"God rest you, queer and questioning, your anxious hearts be still."
Well, Merry Christmas to you too.

▪️The FBI has formed a vast program of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government – from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA.
▪️The government was in constant contact not only with Twitter, but also Facebook, Microsoft, Verizon, Reddit, even Pinterest, and many others.
▪️The regular meetings of the multi-agency Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), devoted to foreign matters, were attended by Twitter executives, FBI personnel, and – nearly always – one or two attendees from "OGA" (other government agencies).
▪️Just before the 2020 elections the FITF/FBI overwhelmed Twitter with requests, sending lists of hundreds of problematic accounts.
▪️Twitter execs were under constant pressure to validate theories of foreign influence and were often unable to find evidence for key assertions.
