🗣 TON Core: 2025 Roadmap Highlights

TON Core, the team driving the technical evolution of TON Blockchain 💎 has released its roadmap for the first half of 2025, presenting key updates aimed at enhancing:

- Scalability 📊
- User experience 🌙
- Developer tools 💪

1️⃣ Accelerator Mainnet Upgrade
TON Core is implementing major network upgrades to boost performance and scalability. This includes infinite sharding, better resource efficiency, and stable transaction processing even during peak loads.

2️⃣ New Tools for Validators
Validators will get backup restoration features, real-time notifications via Telegram bots, a web dashboard for monitoring, and enhanced documentation to simplify operations and improve network stability.

3️⃣ Toncenter API Improvements
New APIs will enhance user experience by providing better transaction tracking, pending transaction visibility, and a transaction emulator to preview outcomes before execution.

4️⃣ UX Guidelines & Ecosystem Partnerships
TON is collaborating with key projects (DeDust, MyTonWallet, TonScan, TonDiamonds, Stakee) to improve user experience with intuitive interfaces, instant transaction updates, and a unified cross-platform experience.

5️⃣ Payment Network Layer 2
A new Layer 2 solution is in the works to enable ultra-fast and low-cost transactions for trading and gaming, with support for additional tokens and asset swaps.

6️⃣ Sidechains Research
Exploring the development of TON-based sidechains for specialized use cases like high-speed trading, with support from contests, technical guidance, and interoperability research.

7️⃣ TOLK 1.0 Programming Language
A new version of TOLK will introduce improved data structures, pattern matching, and smart contract interfaces to simplify development and standardize contract interactions.

8️⃣ TON BTC Teleport Integration
A cross-chain bridge is being developed to transfer Bitcoin to TON without intermediaries, ensuring seamless interaction between the two networks.

9️⃣ Additional Improvements
Standardizing wallet mnemonics, auditing multi-account generation, optimizing token contracts, and introducing unified test suites to enhance development across the TON ecosystem.

SBT Point Allocation System within TON Society🙏🏅

We would like to share with you the details of the points system and its distribution in TON Society. This system is designed to motivate members and reward them for their contributions to the community.

🔹 What are points?
Points are the points you get by completing various activities
These points are manually set by the TON Society team for each activity. Activity points are a separate entity, unrelated to points in other rankings such as the NY League

🔹 What activities are currently awarding points for?
We are currently in test mode and adding points for some activities in the Build, Contribute, and Participate sections. Some new activities in these sections appear without points - this is normal, and they will get points in the future

🔹 Will the activities in the Listening and Meeting sections be graded?
Yes, but not all of them. Our partners are currently implementing new methods to confirm participation in these activities. If these methods can reliably distinguish between those who actually participated in the event and those who did not, these activities will start earning points.

🔹 How are activity points determined?
We try to keep the logic simple and straightforward: the more complex the activity, the more points it earns. For example, tasks where you have to organize something or fix a bug in TON repositories are rewarded with a lot of points, while simple quests that can be completed in a few minutes are rewarded with fewer points.

🔹 Will the point values ​​change?
We want to keep the following logic: the more difficult the activity, the more points it earns. This principle remains unchanged. However, the number of points for specific activities may be revised. We carefully study the community's feedback and we appreciate you reporting inconsistencies in the scoring - it is very valuable to us

🔹 How will points be used in the future?
In the future, we plan to launch a separate leaderboard, where participants' places will be determined by the number of points earned during a certain period.

We will give more details on this as we get closer to the launch of the leaderboard , stay tuned.🙏🫴
