In trading, there's a common manipulation strategy known as Pump & Dump:

🔼 Pump – artificially inflating the price of an asset to boost its market cap and attract attention, only to sell at the top.

🔽 Dump – artificially pushing the price down to buy in cheap before the next rise.

These schemes are often executed through coordinated actions by small groups or even a single whale, and rely heavily on manipulative information tactics.
Such strategies are especially easy to pull off in young markets or with low-cap assets — both criteria apply to Telegram gifts.

📈 In our previous post, we highlighted a suspicious and illogical price surge in a certain non-seasonal gift category. This could very well indicate a price Pump in progress.

🎲 Here's how a potential scam could work:
In a closed group, the admin might promise easy profits from gift pumps. They run a "random" event — for example, rolling a dice GIF (which randomly shows 1 of 6 outcomes), and whichever number appears determines which gift the group starts pumping.
👉 But here's the trick:
The event time and gift choices are controlled by the admin.
This gives him plenty of time to buy up large quantities of the chosen gift at low prices in advance.
Once the pump starts and prices soar due to the group’s buying frenzy, the admin dumps their stock at inflated prices.

⚠️ What we observed today may be an early sign of such a scam being prepared. Stay alert. Do your own research before jumping into sudden market hype.
