Starting this week, the Leagues prize fund will consist of the new currency — $PUNK tokens.

💲 Current League prize fund is 1700 $PUNK.

Any tokens gathered by winning in the League will be available for withdrawal, exchange, and transfer after the TGE, which will take place this month.

🥳 On June 30th, we will generate $PUNK token on-chain and list it on our partners' Ston.fi DEX.

Immediately after TGE, holders will have access to tokens that are not vested, and the liquidity provided by our team will allow free exchange of tokens. The exchange will be available directly in the Punk City — it will definitely facilitate the onboarding of web 2.0 users and increase the demand for the token. We didn't do public and angel seals to force demand to the free market.

📞 Along with the generation of the token, we will launch its staking along with TON Punks NFT staking. Holders of our collection will receive a $PUNK token for owning NFT.

🟪 $PUNK token staking

We will launch $PUNK token staking right after its TGE. Staking is a very useful mechanic (especially when launching) that encourages long-term hold and reduces tokens in circulation. We will launch the first fully on-chain staking ever among TON Jettons.

💲 Holders will be allowed to stake $PUNK either with 3 or 6 months of lockup or without it.

APY is subject to change, however, it will not affect any positions that are already open. $PUNK tokenomics is deflationary — meaning that all tokens will be released from the Ecosystem fund, not emitted. Every year APY will decrease by half.

😍 TON Punks NFT staking

Staking is one of the main features awaited by holders, and its economic design turned out as the most difficult task.

On the one hand, it should generate enough tokens to affect the floor and satisfy holders. On the other hand, it shouldn't break its own price, so the reward must be balanced.

To ensure this balance, we've developed a dynamic formula

➕ Each staked TON Punks NFT will monthly yield 1/12 of the collection floor price, as long as:

➕ Total rewards will not exceed 1/5 of all $PUNK tokens locked for at least 3 months.

This way, the whole community will be able to affect NFT holding rewards and contribute to $PUNK.

🚬 New $PUNK TGE date

Due to technical reasons, we were forced to reschedule the previously announced TGE to Tuesday, July 4th. These few days are required to complete all planned features.

🔥 Deflationary mechanics in Punk City

1. After each $PUNK-betted battle, the contract will burn 2.5% of the bet — this way, we have already burned 1989 $PUNK until today, and this number will continue to grow!

2. 25% of tokens spent on weapon repairs will be also burnt.

❤️ Additionally, as a bonus for rescheduling the TGE, we will burn all tokens spent to purchase 🟦 Neuroboxes. Last week players bought 154 loot boxes, pricing at 25 $PUNK each.

🐶 Punk City GameFi contest #1

We are starting the contest season to create the best web3 games for $PUNK and TON ecosystems.

🔥 Contest will be held in two stages, each will last 3 weeks:

1. Entry selection. At first, we will select projects that meet the criteria listed below.

2. Showcase and voting. Selected projects will have an opportunity to show their developments in the holders' chat, collect feedback and finalize their product. Besides, these projects will receive product and technical advice from the Punk City team. At the end of this stage, our NFT holders will choose the winner by on-chain voting. The 2nd and 3rd places will be automatically passed to the next contest.

🧬 Project requirements:

– Team, MVP, and a solid gameplay concept.
– The project must be ready to integrate the $PUNK token. It must be the only token used in the project.
