Robinhood Crypto announced on Twitter that TON will be available for trading for its clients in some European jurisdictions.

The company Robinhood, founded in 2013 by Stanford University graduates Vladimir Tenev (native of Bulgaria) and Baiju Bhatt, offers a commission-free trading service for stocks and cryptocurrencies.

A team of 13 business developers from Tether and the entire BD team of TON Foundation are working on these integrations, intensifying efforts for TON mass adoption like never before. Their work includes seamless communication to ensure USDt integration on TON with local partners and communities worldwide.

On the TON Foundation side, the team led by Omur Chataltepe and Jesse Ye ensures that each integration aligns with the overarching goal - to provide global access to USDt on TON. With the help of local partners, everyone, everywhere could obtain USDt on TON and access the TON ecosystem within minutes. Additionally, TON Foundation also works to enable USDt payments for goods and services.

To date, TON Foundation has integrated with local payment gateways and processors in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, with more on the way.

💪TON doubles down on development

Anatoly Makosov, technical director at TON, shared in his blog the details of the June updates to TON Core.

As we know, this year the TON blockchain has grown rapidly in all aspects. However, it was not without turbulence: block creation under load sometimes took longer than expected, as did some user operations.

Joint efforts led to the release of TON update 2024.06, with critically important improvements in block production and blockchain message delivery. Three weeks of operation later, we can confidently state that the network has become significantly more stable under the increasing load.

Simultaneously, the TON Core team has released a new smart contract wallet version w5. The concept and initial code of this wallet come from the Tonkeeper team and feature numerous new functions:

- "Gasless" operations: payment of network fees using USDt or NOT
- Support for up to 255 operations at once, for example, allowing you to renew all your TON domains at once
- Optimized network fees

Additionally, the new plugin format adds the following capabilities:
- Decentralized subscriptions, including subscriptions for USDt
- Two-factor authentication

❤️Buying Telegram Stars for TON

A Telegram developer has tested a demo payment on his wallet by funding it with 20 TON from the Telegram Team address. He then withdrew Telegram Stars from the bot's balance for the first time after a recent update.

By looking at recent transactions, we can see that they are testing the feature of purchasing Telegram Stars with TON. This will likely be available on a separate tab on Fragment.com, similar to the purchase of Telegram Premium, with the ability to gift Stars to other users.

Previously, Stars could only be purchased using through the App Store or credit card, depending on the OS and Telegram client.
