It is transparency that creates trust in the project, its founders, and the future development of the blockchain. The plans and actions of its leaders must be transparent to create a healthy and thriving community. On the other hand, a lack of information can cause misunderstanding, rumors and even hate.

Blockchain creates new relationships based on freedom of choice, while old management methods. Vertical structures can be maintained, but only with the understanding and consent of the participants. In short, transparency is the openness of information, accountability and responsibility of those who use the project's resources, and equal conditions for everyone involved.

On December 8, a conference was held in Dubai for those interested in crypto and TON. Denis Matveev, a member of the Tonkeeper core team, who can rightfully be called a TON influencer, was invited to speak. The audience was comprised of Russian speakers familiar with TON, and many others who were new to crypto.

Everyone listened with great interest about the "basic features of TON, types of wallets and the difference between Web2 and Web3". The core message of the story is that to create a decentralized product, "there is no need to "force" blockchain technology upon a project. If it can be done without, then don't bother putting it in just for the sake of it."

A lot has been discussed around GameFi and Denis' position that "one of the best entry points for consumers would be through gaming". At the same time, game developers expressed their concerns about the role of censorship in a decentralized world.

I also learned about the possibility of creating payment channels outside the blockchain, allowing for a huge number of transactions with no commissions.

According to Denis, he was "pleasantly surprised by the quality of the questions... and how eager everyone was to discuss and find answers."

🌐 Megaton Finance, a major DeFi player, is about to join TON

The launch of Megaton Finance has been announced for early 2023. Actually, this AMM-based DEX project started before September 2022, according to the date of registration of the company's official Twitter account.

Its daily trading volume is up $35 million or +18.9%.

🌐 TON & Orbit Bridge are on their way to Web3

Today let's talk about Orbit Bridge, the flagship product of Ozys, a South Korean blockchain developer and TON's partner. The launch of the Orbit crosschain Bridge, followed by DEX AMM Megaton Finance at the beginning of next year will bring about the integration between TON, the Bridge, and the Exchange, thereby laying a foundation for the deployment of Web3. ⭐️ VKontakte announced the launch of VK NFT Hub.

It's the first time that such a centralized platform integrates decentralized technology like wallets and NFTs. This initiative brings the social network closer to mastering Web3 potential.

VK users will be able to "connect a wallet, put up an NFT avatar and even showcase tokens in their profile." Eventually, they could trade NFTs or promote their token collections in the marketplace.

The intention of its developers is to make it an entry point into Web3's decentralized world. They also promise to integrate NFT technology into other platforms and products. 💎 TON Payments for WordPress & WooCommerce

Today we'll tell you about a useful product for mass adoption, developed by Anatoly Yumashev. It's a plugin or "bridge" between TON services and WordPress & WooCommerce-based web stores.

TON Gateway, as the developer calls it, allows for payments using TON coins. He mentioned that he's been long interested in integrating crypto transactions into websites. Paying with Ton is convenient, and the process is similar to Google Pay & Apple Pay. Pavel Durov's initiative to launch Telegram products via blockchain has made this even easier.

At first, it seemed like a tremendous task - creating nodes in the blockchain, writing monitoring mechanisms, etc. However, it turned out that all these merchant services are already present in TON. He just had to write a plugin. The result was a typical payment gateway for WooCommerce.

The backend process includes:

Recently, TON Society spoke about an important issue actively discussed by the participants of the TON FAM in Dubai. For three days, between November 17 - 19, representatives of the TON community and project partners shared their achievements and plans, highlighted results and came together for stronger cooperation.

The conference was attended by teams from Alphanonce.com, Tonkeeper, VistaLabs, Ton Whales.com, OrbitChain.io, TON Play Insider, GetGem and many others.

One of the main topics was the project’s Roadmap for 2023, presented by Andrey Rogozov. Its key component is The Open Challenge (TOC) program, aimed at supporting the most promising projects on the blockchain.

TOC establishes the main directions and participating teams. Those main directions include:

❗️💎Important announcement from The Open Network

TON is requesting all inactive miners and genesis wallet owners who have never used their coins to transfer out their funds to any address on the TON network before 00:00 UTC on January 1, 2023.

This will enable TON Community to get accurate data about the circulating supply of coins and the number of sleeping wallets whose owners could completely lose access to their assets.

The problem is that today data aggregators show different statistics, not taking into account the uniqueness of TON history.

According to TON data, there are 204 inactive mining accounts containing at least 1 Ton. Their total balance is 1.08 billion Ton. The full public list of addresses is provided by the independent data aggregator TonTech.

TON is counting on the community to bring clarity and transparency to the tokenomics of the network. "The community has a right to know the real numbers," not rumors and guesses. This would also improve data accuracy for service providers such as CoinMarketCap.

It has come to light that scammers from Russia have found two new ways to steal Telegram accounts. This time, it’s more technical.

1️⃣ The user receives a "system notification" stating that someone has logged into their account. To prevent unauthorized access, they are offered to disable the unauthorized user on the Telegram website. The link points to an exact replica of the official Telegram website, but it's fake. As soon as the user clicks on the link, he completely loses access to the account.

2️⃣ The user receives a message they received access to Telegram Premium. When trying to log in and activate the "gift", their Telegram account gets stolen.
