The community voting on TON.Vote has come to an end, more than 99% (2.28M TON) of the community voted in favour of the initiative!

We are grateful to every participant for showing their support and rallying around the TON Believers Fund.

Special thanks to TON Foundation for organising the voting and soon donating 1,000,000 TON to the fund. We would also like to thank the projects that have given us media support and contributions to the TON Believers' Fund.

As a reminder, TBF aims to attract contributions from big investors, miners and holders, thanks to which the blockchain will increase its transparency and tokenomics will become more predictable.

🟢The fund has raised 311,181 TON (≈437,051$) since its inception;

🟢Reward-pool was deposited in the amount of 100,440 TON (≈156,824$);

🟢The contract will be frozen on 23 October 2023, after which 2 years of freeze and 3 years of vesting will start, where 1/36 of the deposits made can be withdrawn.

🏆 11th place on CMC and going strong

TON has risen to 11th place in the ranking by CoinMarketCap. This morning it even ranked first among the TOP 100 blockchains of the week.

Over the past month, the value of the token has increased by 48%. Its capitalization was $5,986,395,109, just 400k above Polkadot (12th place) and 800k below TRON (10th place).

Despite daily trading still below their peers and growth essentially coming from large players, this may indicate that they have some insider info.🤔

So far we know that the Telegram team is expected to release their own DEX this fall, as well as TON Space (a non-custodial wallet directly in the messenger app) from the Wallet devs, which will definitely open the doors to new users.🤔

🇨🇭TON Foundation in Switzerland

TON Foundation announced its official status as a Swiss non-profit organization.

Switzerland is known for its rich history of innovation in many industries, including a clear regulatory framework on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

This clarity of the regulatory framework is extremely important for the long-term planning, strategy, and fulfillment of TON Foundation's mission to support its ecosystem.

"This marks the next chapter for the Toncoin community," said Steve Yun, president of TON Foundation. "At the service of our community, TON Foundation will pursue strong governance and transparency under the guidance of Swiss regulations.

As part of its ongoing commitment to openness and clarity, TF will host an annual event called "Gateway" to actively communicate and engage with the TON community.

🤜Support from early holders

Early holder of the wallet ending in …Y2N13 supported the TON Believers Fund by contributing 300,000 TON (≈$540,000).

Immediately after, another large holder …TKEVz deposited 2,000,000 TON (≈$3,620,000).

Next, the owner of the wallet …6Krq7 made a deposit amounting to 1,519,298 TON (≈$2,749,929).

Finally, the wallet ending in …zuadu transferred an additional 749,000 TON (≈$1,355,690).

It is worth noting that the wallets ending in …Y2N13, …6Krq7 and …zuadu have had only one incoming transaction within the last two years.

🔤We remind you that the main goal of our fund is to lock up as many tokens as possible from the hands of large holders and miners, mostly from Central Asia.

The balance of the fund, at the time of writing the post, is 4,897,924.56 TON (≈$8,896,891.09), and 1.5 months to go before the start of the lockup period.

We express our gratitude to our contributors and are excited to see our initiative attracting more and more large holders.

💱Staking TON on Bitrue (7% APR)

The cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue announced its integration with TON. Users can already make deposits and withdrawals in that currency.

Bitrue is a cryptocurrency exchange platform offering customers the opportunity to trade, invest, manage their cryptocurrency, and receive passive income.

The exchange offers staking using PowerPiggy with a maximum rate of 7% APR.

🗺TOKEN2049 is coming up soon

TON Foundation, a platinum partner of the event, will take part in the annual TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore.

On September 13 and 14, in just a few days, a large-scale conference will bring together the best specialists from the crypto world and Web3 technologies.

👛TON integration* in Telegram

The Beta version of Telegram for Android 10.0.6 now offers quick and convenient access to @wallet!

By the end of the 3rd quarter, users will get open access to TON Space: a non-custodial wallet bot supporting tokens and NFTs.

Telegram devs are currently working on a channel "boost" scheme similar to Discord. Boosts would allow subscribers to support channels by voting and unlock special opportunities for administrators, such as publishing stories on their channel.

It is very likely that these boosts could be purchased for TON, which would be a good way of getting more users acquainted with the blockchain.

Support for Mini Apps: these are independent services running inside Telegram. They are similar to bots but have their own interface, accessible from the tabs in the main menu of the application.

The Open Network, after going head to head with TRX, broke ahead and took the 10th place on CoinMarketCap's cryptocurrency rating.

Its capitalization reached $7.48 billion, surpassing TRX (at the time of writing) by $15 million.

TON keeps climbing up and has overtaken Elon Musk's favorite $DOGE, now going for $ADA.

This means that TON is already 8th in the whole world and is quickly approaching the next milestone.

The capitalization of TON has reached $8.85 billion, surpassing $DOGE by 12 million, and has only $150 million to go before the next rank.

TON entered the TOP 50 in September 2022 in 33rd place, and by December has reached TOP 20. Since then, it keeps relentlessly going up.

This will for sure make waves in the crypto community and will bring in new partnerships, developers, users, and that exact mass adoption that has been recently foretold at the Token2049 conference.

📰A new Telegram update

Telegram now gives premium users a way to support their favorite channels! Each gets a vote, or "boost" that can be cast on any channel. The more boosts, the higher the channel's level. And every new level allows it to publish one additional story per day for all of its subscribers.

Regular users and channels can react using stickers, one for each story. Premium users, on the other hand, can react with up to 5 stickers at a time.

Stories can also contain audio files from the device's memory. Thus, users will be able to share their favorite music, audiobooks, or recordings.

These are some of the new features Telegram has introduced to solve challenges and create opportunities for development. Voting allows users to support their favorite channels and filter high-quality content. In addition to improved user engagement, it expands opportunities through a new system of recommendations, known as the "channel feed".

These new features will set Telegram on its way to become a big player on the Web's advertising space, so the goals for the 28th year may be reached sooner than we think, who knows🤷‍♂️

TON Foundation has partnered with Chainbase and Tencent Cloud to speed up blockchain development as it enters a new era of mass adoption of Web3 in the Asia-Pacific region.

Tencent Cloud is a leading cloud provider that offers reliable computing resources and an optimized network connection through its global cloud infrastructure. It has steadily supported TON validators and plans to further expand its services to meet TON's needs for high computing intensity and network bandwidth.

Tencent Cloud and TON Foundation support the development of web applications, Telegram bots, and games that use TON. For all TON-based projects, Tencent Cloud will provide cloud credits and discounts on products available under the Tencent Cloud Startup Program (subject to approval).

Chainbase in turn will offer the first product for indexing TON data. This will make it possible to freely use, request, and analyze all TON data to suit the unique tasks of developers.
