DeepTon x Open Builders

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Open Builders.

Recently, the Tonstarter team has combined its initiatives under a single brand - Open Builders. Soon after, it launched a platform that allows users to act as experts by evaluating and investing in TON projects, a service called Open Rating.

The main goal is to give projects an objective assessment, which will help raise awareness within the community and the quality of the projects and the TON ecosystem. Reviews must be impartial, comprehensive, and accessible. More about the platform and its functioning can be found here.

TON Foundation is launching the the TON Wallet Challenge, which will last over 2 months with a prize fund of $60,000!

Developers for iOS, Android and desktop devices are invited to participate.

The goal of the challenge is to create a TON Wallet app, which could eventually replace current versions of TON Wallet. Layouts, useful resources, evaluation criteria and all technical requirements are presented on GitHub.

Applications can be submitted via the @toncontests_bot, with more detailed information on their website. ❗️Applications must be submitted before May 22.

🔒TON joins Bitfinex

Bitfinex, a modern platform for trading digital tokens, announced today the listing of Toncoin (TON). It is the native token of The Open Network, the purpose of which, as we know, is to combine various blockchains and Web2 into one open network.

Bitfinex is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange from Hong Kong founded in 2012. The exchange offers spot, margin, and derivatives trading, as well as margin financing.

“The Open Network is one of the most exciting blockchains in the Web3 space today. We are thrilled to introduce their native token, TON, to Bitfinex’s growing customer base,” said Henry Child, Head of Tokens at Bitfinex.

Bitfinex will open TON deposits on March 27 at approximately 13:00 Moscow time. TON trading in USD/USDT(TRC-20) pairs will start on March 29 at 13:00 GMT.

Cybersecurity is an urgent and important matter. Unfortunately, elaborate scams are increasingly threatening the safety of crypto wallets. For example, yesterday, a user's wallet was hacked for more than 4,000,000 TON (worth around $9,200,000).

Let's take a look at the most popular scams that hackers can use against you:
- Phishing attacks: it's a social engineering method where attackers impersonate legitimate organizations to gain access to confidential data. For example, they can send an email looking like it's from your DEX exchange and asking you to log in using your credentials.

The word "Premium" has been spotted in the source code of the marketplace Fragment. This hints that a subscription service will soon be for sale on the marketplace, much like usernames and phone numbers are now.

We can see that "Premium" refers to a Telegram subscription from the presence of other parameters such as "gift", "month", etc.

💱TUSD has partnered with The Open Network

💱Voting on the launch of the Ethereum-TON bridge

Today, the mainnet validators of the TON network held a vote to decide on the network configuration and the adjustment of some original parameters that were unchanged since the launch of TON. This helps to better match current network usage.

📊A vote will take place on March 30 from 09:00 to 23:59 UTC on the launch of the Ethereum-TON token bridge.

This bridge will allow users to transfer any ERC-20 network tokens (such as USDC or USDT) originating from Ethereum to the TON blockchain as well as transfer them back.

The transferred tokens will show up on TON as regular tokens, so TON services such as STON.fi, DeDust.io and other DEX will be compatible without needing any updates.

📣$14,700 for one NFT

The Metamorphoses team shared their experience with the Go Mobile marketing agency, which attracted a mere 30 sales in the English-speaking market.

The agency was contracted for the following tasks:
- Develop a marketing strategy and positioning for the collection
- Sell 1448 NFT images
- Generate demand high enough to create a secondary market

Here are their final results::
- Their vibrant Twitter account went from 26k followers down to 15k (partly due to banning of bots), reposts and likes went from 1k+ to just around 0
- 4k users in Discord, who generated 1k+ chat messages daily, also went quiet. Just as with Twitter, their current activity is close to none
- Out of an audience of over 30k participants, 97.72% ignored the sales day event

The team requested a refund and compensation for the failed project and reputational damage to the artists and the collection.

When faced with the evidence of their lousy work, the Metamorphoses agency received the following response: "It's your own fault that you didn't control us. We are not going to return the money."

As a result, after $447,495 was spent, the campaign generated only 30 sales, got a bunch of bots on Twitter and Discord, and received a refund of only $121,890.
