Judging by the vibe from those who’ve gotten in, trading’s not exactly booming. I don’t really get where the buyers are supposed to come from. Sticker sellers are floating around in the clouds, thinking their stickers are hot stuff and people will proudly toss them into chats. They’ve already pocketed their money and are now thrilled that their stickers sold like hotcakes. After that, they can just kick back—or maybe drop even more stickers since everyone supposedly loves them so much.

I decided to build myself a Windows PC. Downloaded the OS distribution from Microsoft’s website. Figured, it’s 2025—what problems could there be? These aren’t the dark ages when I made a living installing Windows for clients.

The process got to connecting to Wi-Fi, and that was it. Done. According to the developers, I’m supposed to pull a spare computer out of the closet, hop online with it, and find drivers in driver format. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master for an Intel processor. On Gigabyte’s site, the drivers come as an EXE file meant for an already running system. It unpacks to who-knows-where. Are Windows users still suffering like this?

Yesterday evening, there was a lot of buzz about the launch of sticker trading in Tonnel. After 3 hours, trading was halted. I heard various theories, from critical bugs and potential scams to some friction with Sasha from Notcoin. It supposedly ended because of a demand to pay royalties on every transaction. On one hand, this requirement seems kind of absurd. What royalties to the creators if I already bought the damn picture? It’s mine now. On the other hand, I don’t see it as a problem for the marketplace—let users pay those royalties if they’re so desperate for stickers.

I’m sure stickers will eventually return to Tonnel. It was already late, so I didn’t catch the trading volume, but it seemed pretty decent. Even though the whole thing wasn’t exactly intuitive to use.
