But we’re waiting for something else. Let them drop the Durov statuette and upgrades for the old gifts. And it seems they might release them tonight. So we’re staying up, not sleeping. We’ll be chatting in the group half the night. 😁

Last night, new gifts finally dropped—looks like the kettle trick worked. Our entire Federation Council stayed up, keeping watch, monitoring for the gifts, and we found out about them the very second they appeared.

The tactic was spot on; the problem is the gifts themselves were a letdown. Instead of the Durov statuette, they slipped us some bricks. And overall, the gifts look pretty shabby. Besides the brick, there’s crap like instant noodles and a circus monkey. After stylish bags, bracelets, and rings, this new collection feels underwhelming.

I didn’t believe the Durov statuette would drop today from the start, but I got swept up in the hype and waited for it too. There’s a theory that upgrading the brick might reveal the statuette. But to me, that sounds like nonsense. First, the emission is a whopping 7,000 units. Even if only 1,000 turn into statuettes, the total supply would still be massive, and it wouldn’t be the rare gem we’re hoping for. Second, why wouldn’t the devs just make a bit more cash by releasing the rarest gift separately?

It seems this collection is an April Fool’s prank. It’s pretty funny that influencers were buying bricks on Telegram in the middle of the night. 😂 There was more than enough time to grab them—over half an hour. Chat groups for brick holders are already popping up, while I’ll just quietly sit on the sidelines with my nine bricks.

I keep forgetting about our old tap games. The mining of $SWITCH in the PocketFi app has ended. As of now, about 1.7 billion tokens have been verified. Now all that’s left is to wait for the listing. I can’t even guess the token price—PocketFi enthusiasts insist everything will turn out fine, but my own experience tells me it’s all nonsense.
