On Dec. 31, the TON team announced the release of the TON Storage component, a distributed file-storage technology accessible through the TON P2P Network. Think of a better version of Dropbox for simplicity’s sake.
Based on smart contracts, the torrent-like technology has great potential for storing and sharing large amounts of data. In the future, with the release of an easy-to-use interface for uploading files and sharing your storage with other users, TON Storage will become an important element in the development of TON-based projects.
