KuCoin has detected unusual activity in cryptocurrency withdrawal from some of their accounts, and has temporarily halted the deposit and withdrawal of $TOKO from user accounts.
According to their latest security audit report, part of Bitcoin, ERC-20 and other tokens in KuCoin’s hot wallets were transferred out of the exchange. These assets comprised a small portion of KuCoin’s total assets holdings. The assets in their cold wallets are safe and unharmed, and their hot wallets have been re-deployed.
While KuCoin conducts a thorough security review, all TOKO deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended till further notice. KuCoin will restore the services gradually after ensuring a safe state.
KuCoin has assured all users that if any user fund is affected by this incident, it will be covered completely by KuCoin’s insurance fund.
Don’t worry, your TOKO assets in KuCoin accounts are safe and sound.
