Panoptic.xyz - options trading platform

In Nov 2023 Panoptic announced 7M round led by Greenfield capital

On Dec 21 they launched open beta on Base with deez/nuts tokens - https://beta.panoptic.xyz/

It has a lot of bugs, but UX is nice and intuitive. There is no shill for the platform and ~200 addresses on test leaderboard. There is production version of Panoptic, but don’t I don’t have access for it now.

My strategy is just to play around, keep positions open for some time and follow the project. Doing it mostly for research purpose - gonna build some deltaneutral strategy later this year

IDO Series #1

The early bull market signals new tokens to launch. There are many ways for token distribution and IDO can be a THING again.

IDO platforms who survived the cycle, had treasury and reputation would start sales again. The early sales are the bread and butter for people who understand the trend.

Today I want to show you old but gold Polkastarter. Few thesis:
- They hired new people, maintained treasury and reputation
- Launched only 13 projects in 2022 and no projects after Aug 2022
- In 2024 they are coming back with 2 projects
- FDV 87M is OK-ish entry point for any project with good team in this market

Both projects seems good. The first one - Web3 Game Citizen Conflict. Raised 7M, 500$ allocations and 630k initial Mcap without liquidity - rocket ready for take off.

Second one is much more interesting - Overlay Protocol. The investor board is GOOD - ParaFi, Polychain, Metacartel, LAO, 1kx. Launch parameters are TBD but ~360k initial MCap sounds NICE.

For the first 2 IDOs in 1,5!!! years Polkastarter needs to show numbers. If they can make this 2 launches successful - token price might go higher. On today's micro dump bought some POLS. I’ll consider tries to get allocation in IDO projects as leveraged bet on POLS.

The elephant in the ARB

Recently, I’ve written a post about Perennial. I needed some USDC for my strategy, but it’s not that efficient to stay in USDC in the bull market, thus, it can be borrowed against ETH.

One of the most interesting lending products on Arbitrum is Dolomite. ~30M TVL, no token, participation in STIP program and good investors onboard like Draper Goren Holm, NGC and Coinbase Ventures.

I deposited some ETH to borrow USDC against it. When you put your ETH as collateral - it still earns some ARB via STIP and your USDC loan will be covered by oARB rewards. oARB - vested ARB that you can unlock without loss in 26-40 weeks depending on your account level. Level 4 allows you to claim your rewards in 26 weeks. To get level 4 - you’ll need to do MANY quests, these quests are quite expensive, but, they have only a few hundred participants. Getting lvl4-5 would cost you 50-100USD and few hrs of your life.

Currently, ETH APR is ~17% and USDC APR is 27% with borrow rate ~8% for USDC.

Joining Homeowners Association

Today I discovered that Parcl has it's own NFT collection. Parcl - Real Estate platform on Solana, raised 10+M from nice investors including Dragonfly, Shima and Solana Foundation. The project already has standard points + referral system.

As I'm pretty bullish on Solana ecosystem, I was already supplying some liquidity to Parcl. But NFT leverages the bet in few ways:
1. NFTs are typically leveraged bet on L1 asset (SOL)
2. I think it guarantees drop
3. To buy NFT, you use Tensor, which may have it's own drop

Affine - DeFi Yield on MATIC

Affine - liquidity management solution on Polygon. They raised 5+M $ from Tier 1 VCs like Jump, Coinbase Ventures, Circle, Shima, Hack VC etc.

Affine is on market for 1Y+ but it’s still very early. Product is simple and straightforward, generating me some yield on USDC. With ~250 USD investment, I’m in top 500 accounts on leaderboard. BUT, I have Affine pass NFT that give +50% boost on points, yes they also have points. Affine NFT already had 2-3x in recent few weeks.

TVL is 2,5M USD, marketing is not on. My strategy is to have few hundred USD farming with pass.

Manta Old Paradigm

Manta will close deposits and new pieces/boxes drops in 2 days.

What does it mean for farmers like me and you, anon? Let’s dig a bit into numbers:
- Total amount of users - 91,5k
- Number of The First Modular L2 NFTs ~32k with ~6k owners
- Number of L33t Codes NFTs ~6k
- 45M $MANTA tokens allocated for NFT holders

It makes me think that projected max amount for The First Modular L2 NFTs is 50k but will be less in reality and the number of holders <10k. Admin in Manta Discord also mentioned that The First Modular L2 NFT will be rewarded more than T1-T6 combined.

Let’s to some math.

I would expect ~25M $MANTA allocated to The First Modular L2 NFT holders (more than mentioned in article). With 50k supply, it makes 500 $MANTA per NFT. With expected price 2-3 USD per $MANTA, NFT drop will be ~1250 USD. Moreover, I would expect some additional utility like ecosystem projects drops or whitelists. NFT price ~1050 USD seems like OK-ish deal considering future rewards for NFT holders. Moreover, limited supply may push NFTs price higher after drops are ended.

I bought additionally few NFTs to get bigger exposure to ecosystem.

Manta Mystical NFT did +10% in 24hrs

Less supply, burn to get $MANTA and growing volume and price. Bought 1 from a market, my bet is that it could be flipped in 1-2 weeks. Realistically +20-30%, optimistically 2x, let's gamble.

Set for the Setter

The best thing at night is to buy some high risk NFT - Setter Token Rewards. 4 Rarities, each of them has 20k, 40k, 100k and 150k tokens. Bought legendary for ~400 USD (~0,25c per token).

Thesis - a16z invested in project. Drop should be in February and my bet is to flip fast. R/R seems Ok-ish

I've been AFK for a week, let's see the results of older posts
- ZKF bought at 0.0033 USDC, currently - 0.014 (~4x), ATH was 0.025. Locked half for 4 years, other half - hodling
- Koda NFT - 10% lower than I bought, however, farmed some LOTM items, long term play
- SNX -10%; POLS -15%; SWISE -20% long term play - hodling
- Parcl NFT ~2x growth in SOL
- Manta NFTs bought -50%, totalling a small profit (in ETH) on the New Paradigm. Profit not realized, hodling Manta higher
- Setter Crates +5% in MATIC

Not terrifying, not satisfying. Eth was outperformed by little. Some more ideas and cases are coming

Solana szn v2 ?

I’m Solana bull for a long time. I’ve aped a little bit in $SOL on $BONK/$ANALOS/$JTO pumps but we’re into correction atm.

However, it feels that $SOL is ready for a new take off:

1. $JUP TGE - 31 JAN
2. $MXM TGE - 1 FEB
3. Drift points drop - 2 FEB
4. Kamino, Parcl, Marginfi, Tensor and many more are ready for TGE but waiting for a good moment

These launches may boost liquidity inflow and $SOL long with a small leverage is my bet (<1,8x). I would expect 150 USD in FEB / beginning of MAR.
