My takes:
- alts are getting stronger, defi looks good for the first time in a while. Just look on $AAVE and $UNI, looks like a safe bet
- a lot of projects on a low start, the October-November will have a lot of launches
- airdrops and memes are not absorbing liquidity as it happened in Spring
- people come back to work after holidays and Oct is historically bullish
- OGs capitulating ETH seems like a bottom signal

If I'm right, I want to have a few risky bets, so my choice for now is $APW, $FJO, $LIT (Bunni), $KEROSENE and doing more research now. Why these coins? Feels like a good entry point with some fundamentals for each one. All of them are moon or doom and going x10 or 2.0 (to zero) Most of them will doom, remember it, anon

For a safer choice - most of high cap defi looks good and your research should be on it, but it's not my strategy for now. I'll throw some random tickers here as well - $UNI, $AAVE, $ACX, $1INCH, $COW. These should not going to 0 in most scenarios, but upside is also lower

I'll be going to Token2049 to get some alpha and might share it here. I have much more thoughts on the market and I will post more. It's time to work.

Solana Breakpoint Aftertaste

Bitcoin and Ethereum are cults. Solana became a cult for me at Breakpoint. I went to Breakpoint 2022 in Lisbon, and it was a regular conference. BP 2024 was something more than that. It opened my eyes to a few important things:

1. Solana is focusing on and winning the US market. If you live in Europe or Asia, you can't feel it, but their entire focus on the US is a great strategy. It also explains why Sol ecosystem projects cost much more - the average Sol or Solana token holder is pretty big.
2. The Solana community feels like a family. It's very important because this feeling makes you hold and believe. The memecoin eco is toxic PvP, but other narratives like DeFi, RWA, or DePIN are super welcoming. For example, the Helium community and team are amazing. It makes $HNT and others cost a lot.
3. Solana has the best BD. Ethereum isn't doing BD itself but rather has a lot of projects trying to open doors. Solana does a lot themselves, and the progress on huge partnerships is impressive. Some day 1 news: Many Ethereum OG projects are also exploring or moving to Solana. Just like Sky (Former Maker DAO) did.
4. Solana is working a lot on chain tech. The node architecture and infra are far from the best, BUT the progress with Firedancer opens HUGE opportunities to make nodes more diverse and the tech more transparent. Solana Opening Hours can be a thing, but the long-term future seems bright.
5. The whole FTX/3AC thing is good for the long-term success of the chain. Solana did a rebirth, and the phoenix is here to fly.

The inflation is 5%, the distribution is good, the community is amazing, meme tokens are constantly burning supply, uptober starts in few days etc.

I'm gonna change my shoes to $SOL bull. 1k is programmed, will be looking for some more alpha on Solana, and will be increasing my $SOL position.

- $JUP - will be releasing mobile app and v2 of launchpad with some pipeline of launches. Graph looks nice, I’m in leveraged long. The next drop should be Jan and I’ll close all leveraged positions
- $KMNO - working on Morpho style vaults, generating revenue, MCap seems reasonable with a room to grow
- $TNSR - no one left to sell, releasing new product soon, really good team
- $NEON - despite the product seems dead, they have money and may still have random pumps like it was before

It feels that we're in the beginning of the alt szn. $ETH is 20% till ATH and it will mark a start of alt szn as I wrote here. So I need to prepare a bit.

The narratives I following mostly:
- DeFi. Many coins pupmed a bit already, but most of them are still below ATH: $UNI 60% off, $AAVE 60% off, $MKR 65% off and so on. Thus, it's still okay entry point for DeFi and high caps seem like a safe bet. Lower caps have higher risks and higher potential returns.
- Token launches. It feels that token sales have nice potential again. Many projects refuse airdrops and do sales. Launchpads to follow - Fjord and Legion.
Fjord solds out many project very fast and some of them have decent returns so I closely monitor all new launches here.
Legion is a new KYC launchpad incubated by Delphi Digital. It has unique stream of high quality projects and I try to get allocation in most of them. - Memes. I believe that they are here to stay for the cycle. It's not my priority and I won't post any meme calls here, but I closely monitor and play this casino time to time.
- Alt ecosystems. During alt szn, alt ecosystems will boom. It's high risk bet and I don't have preference here. But when liquidity comes - we should be agile and try to gamble. It may happen anywhere - Berachain, Sonic, Move-chains or any other
- DeSci. Decentralized science gets more attention and still only a few understand it. However, it gets more attention and the sector feels still undervalued.

My strategy is more aggressively deploy in token sales and closely follow the narratives. I would not recommend any leveraged shorts at this market.

Current state of the market

It's been some time since I posted anything here. We've switched from optimism to fear. But what the F is actually happening? I'll try to be a a ray of hope in dark times.

Macro

The US government have started firing orders and news just after the election. It brought a lot of uncertainty and big guys started to de-risk capital, including crypto. Crypto is one of higher risk assets with profits that could be fixed. Thus, minor correction is a normal thing. It's also good to close BTC CME gap and shake out week hands from the assets.

Memes and AI agents tokens big dump seems pretty logical retrospectively. Valuations were overpriced and when liquidity was sucked by $TRUMP and other tokens we saw a big crash. The game was to buy first and sell before others, when everyone started to sell without new liquidity we crashed -90+% for many gamble assets.

BUT, the big picture is looking bullish. State actors preparing for accumulation (or already accumulating). The reserves are a big thing, we will see a huge inflows, but we need to be patient. Big guys are accumulation while you sell. Look at long term holders supply here.

The lesson for us here is not to forget fixing profits on shitcoin rides into $BTC, $SOL and $ETH.

Ethereum and Solana

Ethereum and Solana are two only big ecosystems in crypto. I'm bullish both on $ETH and $SOL. Despite Ethereum mainnet activity is much lower now, it doesn't actually matter. The $ETH inflation is pretty low and if you're holding staked $ETH - there is 0 inflation.

I hear a lot that there are o Ethereum narratives. BUT, Ethereum is a narrative itself. It's the biggest eco in terms of usage, TVL, developers. products etc. Ethereum foundation started to work and focus on the price performance. Ethereum is money and is used everywhere, we need to be patient here as well. There are a lot of onchain and offchain metrics that indicate a growth, but I won't focus about them here. Solana is huge as well. It's just different, they're doing a great job by onboarding devs and users, understanding users' needs and building products. ETF is a matter of time and the 85b FDV seems pretty low compared to undervalued $ETH and undervalued $BTC.

I'm betting on both and my gambles are only to get more $SOL and $ETH.

Gambles

Altcoin market is an educated casino as always been. Green market just improves the probabilities.

My strategy at the moment is to focus on sales and deep research alts. Most of sales performed OK-ish, some in profit, some in $ETH terms profit. I closed most of my alt positions already.

Market always gives some opportunities. At the moment playing with some Bera and Sonic eco projects. We need just to see new trends early and ride them. So max attention mode is on.

My hopes

Legion sales performed ok. I believe that there will be more nice opportunities. Pipeline seems really good, if they have reasonable terms - easy invests.

I'm waitnig for after 90 days unlocks in Bera. Expecting to get a few $BERA tokens to put into farms.

I'm still bullish on some earlier sales I participated - 0G nodes, $SOON Solana L2, $OVL from Fjord

In terms of farms I got Fragmetric ($SOL restaking), Kinto, some Dolomite tokens and Bera farms
