🍄Submission Guidelines🍄

I am once again casting the net for submissions to Toadstool Magazine!

We are planning for a new issue to be released in early December, a bumper issue that will be a good bit larger than the last ones. Due to missing a couple of scheduled issues over the Summer and Autumn, this issue will not be restricted by seasonal themes - anything goes!

We are looking for short stories, poems, art, articles/reviews, recipes, crafting instructions, or whatever else you can dream up!
Themes: fairytales, fantasy, GNOMES, whimsy, woodland critter stories… anything that roughly fits the bill is welcome. Send it to the address below!
Word limit on stories is about 6k words - I’ll take longer stories but they better be really, really good to be worth so much real estate in the magazine 😉

I want to thank everyone for all of the support that my daughter and I have gotten this past week.

Hearing all of the stories, appreciation, and the impact that Jeff had on so many of you has definitely given me some comfort in such a painful time.

This is a previously unreleased song that I feel was unintentionally created to be released in this moment, so I’m dedicating this to Jeff.

He inspired me and motivated me to not only create, but to grow as an artist and as a person. Besides the love we shared, he gave me the greatest gift I could have asked for… a daughter. Her smile keeps me strong.

His memory will live on through her and the stories we all share of him. ❤️
