Before Tolkien, before Howard, before fantasy was a defined genre there was the great Lord Dunsany.

I am once again casting the net for submissions to Toadstool Magazine!

We are planning for a new issue to be released in early December, a bumper issue that will be a good bit larger than the last ones. Due to missing a couple of scheduled issues over the Summer and Autumn, this issue will not be restricted by seasonal themes - anything goes!

We are looking for short stories, poems, art, articles/reviews, recipes, crafting instructions, or whatever else you can dream up!
Themes: fairytales, fantasy, GNOMES, whimsy, woodland critter stories… anything that roughly fits the bill is welcome. Send it to the address below!
Word limit on stories is about 6k words - I’ll take longer stories but they better be really, really good to be worth so much real estate in the magazine 😉
