Canada recently ordered TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to close its operations in the country due to concerns about national security and data privacy. This decision isn’t a full ban, so people in Canada can still use TikTok, but it aims to address worries about how user data might be handled by a Chinese-owned company.

Russia’s court recently gave a life sentence to Dmitry Pavlov, the alleged owner of Hydra marketplace.
