Hi Reddit! Can you please tell me if there is a version of Telegram without tethering to Google services?That is, without the push library from Google and without the voice recognition function via Google services.I would be very grateful for help.

Got Hacked?
I was installing some kind of software(crack) by watching a YouTube tutorial and install the software after that my all PC files were encrypted. I was not able to open any program expect power options like shutting down and restart. After a few minutes of google search I got to know that I malware I got was called .ghas ransomware. Instead of decrypting the ransomware I have reset the laptop where my Telegram Desktop is also present. After this whole thing happened without me knowing some random russian language text were begin sent to random people and got joined in some crypto groups. I got a message from Telegram spam bot that I have been sending spam messages and can't message people that are not in my contacts and those crypto invitations were begin sent to my official college groups too. I have spend some time deleting those stuff but they repeat again and again which was pathetic. I can't even message professors for any kind of doubts.
I hope to find a solution.

[Q] - Telegram Group Chat - Rose Managed - Ghost Spam Accounts appearing with no system notification or Rose welcome message.
Have a Group Channel linked to a Main channel. Rose is fully setup and well configured, logging channel, tons of blocklist filters, welcome message displaying username, first name, last name, and UID.Most of the time, new users joining (mostly bots or scammers) will join the group chat and this triggers the system message of "user has entered the chat" and fires off the Rose welcome message displaying their information to the group. Math captcha used and if that fails there's no entry and no grace period that expires that will allow them to say anything without solving captcha.The problem we're having is that let's say we have 100 users in the group chat. Without any notification of system message or Rose welcome message, that goes to 101. Then the same spammer blasts their trash and usually gets caught by the blocklist filters I've set up. The thing is, the user count increments to 101 and there is no join message, no Rose welcome message - yet there they are and able to spam.Thoughts are, perhaps the users have blank usernames with control characters that allow this, but you'd think you'd still see a join message with a blank username " has joined the chat" and no username.Another thought is that the primary invite link might still be active and has been distributed around to spammer lists that they can go locate to get invite links to channels. We're revoking the primary invite links and any others that exist and we're testing that.How is it possible that users can just enter like a ghost, without an enter message, no log channel message from Rose, bypassing any captcha from Rose and post messages?It's quite frustrating.I manage another channel using a paid version of Combot which in-fact detects users entering that have no username (or control characters to make the name seem blank) and kicks those users but Rose does not have this feature.I'm more curious if anyone else has seen this that runs Rose or if someone knows why or how these ghost users can get into the group chat like this.Thank you.

Glitch that sends you to the bottom of the page when scrolling
I own a telegram channel and ppl keep telling me that when they try to scroll it automatically shoots them to the bottom of the channel. Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

messages disappeared on one device while still existing on other
I use telegram on two phones and suddenly realused that some of the messages in multiple chats just disappeared on one phone, while i can still see them on another, including messages that I sent/replied to via the one with the issue. Both devices are connecting to the internet and works just fine while messaging. Does anyone knows why it happened and how can I fix it?

"Telegram is free forever. No ads. No subscription fees." is what Telegram claimed. Now we know how long "forever" is. :| I discovered how Telegram quickly replaces text in the welcome screens after going online with an older version from before paid Premium was introduced.
After restoring a backup on my latest phone which I had sent out for repair under warranty (swollen battery, bring back removable batteries) apparently the Telegram data wasn't included in the backup so it started as if freshly installed.When swiping through the welcome screens I noticed that phrase "Telegram is free forever. No ads. No subscription fees." on one of those screens.Yeah, right, I thought. Let me grab that. But after activating a helper app for screenshots I couldn't find that text anymore. Knowing I had seen it I realised it had to have been replaced with a version quickly (and sneakily) pulled from the Telegram servers even before I had entered anything in the app.So I force closed and deleted all data. I went offline and started Telegram again. Now that text was back and I could grab it. After that I went online again and soon it was replaced again.Here are the screenshots.'Old'​Previuos text as was included in app version 8.7.4​'New'​The new text that likely is in newer versions of the app.​I understand running Telegram costs money and whatever was donated as capital might not be enough forever. The extra Premium features are so far pretty 'cosmetic'. Will it stay that way? I wouldn't mind a small yearly fee to cover expenses, with an option to 'sponsor' users in poorer parts of the world. Although that become less appealing if you, for good reasons, have more than one account. The current Premium fee is way too high as a standard fee. It's more a way to have a smaller group of people support them financially.We'll see how it goes. If a smaller group decides to help fund Telegram and for the rest it remains a feature-rich chat app for free it might not be a bad thing. I would object to a few people getting 'rich', because that was not supposed to happen.

When I remove members from groups it notifies the group with an automatic post that I have to "delete for everyone"Some of my groups DON'T automatically post the removal.What's happening here, why do some post and some don't?I want to remove people with our telling everyone I removed them.

Free host for Telegram bot with static files
I developed a Telegram bot that parses a GTFS transit feed to serve users with realtime train schedules. Once a day, the bot downloads and stores in a local folder ~100 MB worth of static files.After trying to host it with Heruku, I found out that the Heroku filesystem is ephemeral - that means that any changes to the filesystem whilst the dyno is running only last until that dyno is shut down or restarted.What are the alternatives for hosting such a telegram bot for free?

Chess board recognition bot
This bot was intended to be an experiment with CV and ML in Python but eventually I realized that it could be helpful for people.It accepts an image of a chess board with pieces on it, tries to recognize it and returns FEN notation of position which can be then analyzed in any chess engine (even online using lichess.org).The bot is very slow now it is located on a slow hosting and requires optimization, however it works pretty fast and precise on standard 2d board images with the standard set of pieces. Please avoid sending anything except 2d computer generated board images to it.
