Did Telegram always require a phone number?
I created an account for telegram YEARS ago. I used that account to create a channel (that I never used) on a URL I want to free up.Issue is, I cannot seem to figure out how to log into that old account. I tried all the phone numbers I have... unless I used some old google voice number?Was there ever a point where you could sign up to telegram WITHOUT a phone number? If so, how do you recover such an account?

Tg premium is hardly attractive to me. Almost everything that Premium gives, were already achievable in unofficial clients, or will still be limited anyways by admins of groups/channels.
Dont get me wrong. I LOVE this app. But since premium came, i was always half-hearted about if i should subscribe.(I) - it doubles limits. Well The limits related to number of pinned chats and folders were always circumventable with unofficial clients (even tho u have to manually set them on every client bc it wont sync server side, BUT STILL. i have done this forever).(II) -The double bio length still is a big limitation and the problem that u can't put line-breaks still exists and things get crammed. Also, the same 140-char bio is free in Signal which just hurts man!(III) -The up/download speed limit and file size limit: 2 problems with this. First u have to already be in a place where those high speed limits are useful.Secondly, tg could be a good place to upload BUT too many uploads get out of hand easily bc it doesn't behave like a true upload center. ( u can't sort, rename, categorize in folders etc).True upload centers ( Like Mega or Google Drive) have like a file manager-like interface where u can do things to a file u have sent out. But in tg when u send a file, it just goes out of hand. Even its name!(IV) -motion pfps , meh. I personally see them sometimes on Twitter and dont care.(V) -New reactions: Channel and group admins will still have control of what reactions u can send in. Most of them dont allow anything but 👍 & 👎 . So chances are they'll be mostly limited to your DMs.-> In total, it just not appealing. What could tg do (in your opinion) to make it more worth it?

How do I stop groups from inviting me??
There's a ton of groups that keep on inviting me. How do I stop this??? I've already blocked everyone in my contacts from having me join a group and it's set on my contacts only

I've been reported to spam bot without doing anything.
I only sent one message today and I've been reported as spamming. Spam bot says I've been spamming. Have I been hacked?Also a bunch of Crypto groups keep inviting me and I can't block them out. Telegram account hacked via SIM swap
Hi guys,Seems like I'm the victim of a SIM swap account. I was using a travel sim and someone appears to have gotten in my account and changed the two-step verification for my account to an email I don't recognize. I saw an active session that I didn't recognize which I immediately killed.So how to I get this other email address off my account?

⭐️ Carpeta de chats por defecto. Con Telegram Premium, puedes cambiar tu carpeta por defecto desde Todos a una personalizada, como Trabajo o No leídos.

Para cambiarla, mantén pulsada una carpeta, toca Reordenar y luego arrastra una nueva carpeta al primer espacio.

Did the regular downloads get slower/throttled after Telegram Premium was released?
Is it only me, but this week, my regular downloads has become significantly slower. Instead of downloading concurrent multiple files, only one download is downloading.. I didn't have this issue before Telegram Premium was released.. I suspect that they are throttling regular users to upgarde to Premium

In telegram, how many files can you upload on my private channel?
So I just wanted to upload all my Images to telegram but i have like 10s of thousands of images. I dont think you can even share 200 files at onces. So is there a easier way to upload all my files ?
