Switched from HDD to SSD, now being requested to 2-step verify EVERY Log In attempt
Hi. I've recently switched from my HDD to using an SSD (new memory drive) as a main form of booting my computer. Since then whenever I try to open the Telegram application from my desktop I have been requested to read a QR Code then input a password, which hasn't been as optimal as a simple click-to-open as it was before. Can you guys help me return to this simplicity of acess? I have tried fidgeting with some security options and looking online to no avail, only thing I find are "bug from specific versions" that get fixed next update and the user of the complaint closes the forum thread

• Animated placeholders when loading the chat list.

New telegram bio section allows 140 char limit in bio. But what happens if my subscription ends without me noticing? Will it cut my bio in 70 chars?
That'd be really bad! Because I put a shop address in it but I don't tend to check on my account very frequently or have a schedule of my subscription plans of different apps/services.I'm afraid it will be cut in half and look like a half written address.Why didn't telegram give this feature to everyone? This shouldn't be a premium thing!! Because it would alter the info your profile gives to others. I agree with every other premium option but this one, no.

Have your static stickers get smaller since the latest update?
Hey, since the last update of Telegram for macOS (the native one, not Telegram Desktop), all static stickers (not animated) in all chats have become much smaller than they used to be, smaller than the animated stickers.Is this a bug or do I have to pay for normal-sized stickers now?

Chats Keeps Reappearing
I lost my trust on Telegram after this situation. A random guy texted me and I didnt even reply him. I deleted the conversation for both and blocked the user but everytime I open desktop app, this chat appears.Aren't the messages we deleted completely deleted from the servers?

how i feel about telegram premium. my two cents.
hello. so i've been a telegram user since day 1. and honestly. it exceeded my expectations. i can do everything a messaging app should do. now that telegram decided to go premium, i didn't hesitate to support the app i loved and used forever. it was free and it was fair. E2EE, bots, channels, large groups, video calls.... you name it, they have it. however, after i paid the for the premium features. i started to feel that some free modified versions of telegram are offering really convent features. for example, for the past 3 months, i've been using a version called "iME" and i used that for 2 reasons only. you see, i own a small business and i rely on telegram to communicate with my customers. so i have two accounts in my telegram app. on iME, i can mute one account and leave the other one unmuted. i can't do this on telegram which is a bummer in my opinion. like come on. i don't want to mute the phone completely. i just want to mute one account. the other thing is, on iME, there's a section for unread chats. this is really convenient if you have tons of people talking to you. so at this point. i really don't know how i feel about it. don't get me wrong, the extra features are very cool. but when you return to use the official app after using a modded one. you really start to question whether you want to continue using the official app or not. i hope they start learning what makes other versions very cool and attractive. i really like the download speed now. although the uploading speed is questionable. i will keep supporting telegram for what they do. and i hope they listen from their clients. especially the premium ones.

telegram please introduce a lifetime premium plan. This is why.
The hassle of being a member of too many subscriptions is just too much these days. Many ppl are a member of more than 30 services and it just takes alot to keep track of all of them and now there's tg on top of the existing ones.I wish there was an option to do it just once even if it was 100$. I can't take the hassle of getting in 1more subscription service even tho I want the features.Things are just too much to bear and remember.

Telegram Desktop (MacOS, Apple Silicon) brakes after each update
Every time after I click the "Update Telegram" prompt as the new version being released the app closes but never opens in new version (as it is intended to). The app also can't be opened again, as it's opening halts with some generic error (sort of "app cannot be found") and it's icon changes to crossy plaseholder.I started experiensing this behavior after I had started using an Apple Silicon-based MacBook 10 month ago, and ever since I needed to go to download page on Telegram's website to get the new version's .dmg. Never expereinced it on my previous Intel-based machine. I have tried to delete all Telegram data from the computer, and make a fresh installation, but that didn't help (can't guarantee I actually know every place where Telegram Desktop creates it's directories).I haven't found any mentions of this issue. Tried to get in touch with Telegram Support, but haven't heared anything back from them for months. So, maybe someone here knows about this issue, what causes it and what a fix for it can be. Will be grateful for any help, as this thing is pretty annoying, as you can probably guess :)
