delete/remove members with arabic characters in name
Several Tele bots will remove message that contain arabic characters (Miss Rose, No Arab), however I'm trying to find a bot that will also remove/delete members that have arabic characters in their name.Any suggestions?

[Q] How do I prevent Telegram Desktop from letting others delete MY messages from MY computer?
Yesterday I just found out my client did a shitty thing for another user's bidding, they deleted their entire message history. And it got deleted on MY computer too.This is extremely fucking offensive. Why don't I have control over my data? Why can someone just delete days of messages? Maybe one day I would've wanted to look back on those messages for memories or something else??This is not OK.I need to disable this, or replace Telegram Desktop with a fork that does not do this. I cannot use a chat client that lets other people delete entire chats from my machine. I do NOT appreciate backdoors.Please let me know if you have any recommendations. I'm not interested in why this is a security/ephemeral/privacy feature. I'm getting rid of it.

Complicated Question
I just don’t understand Telegram.Created a new account with a new phone number. Have a contact that I used to message all the time.I can see when they are online in my new account. They don’t have my new number. Can they see when I’m online? Can they see if I’m typing to them like we could in my old account?What if they deleted me from their Telegram contacts? Would I show up in their list since they’re in my list?

A user pops up in my telegram every time I open the windows app even after I block them and delete history
New Telegram user here. Use it rarely. Don't use it on the phone. Every time I open the app on Windows there's this contact that has my phone number but I don't want to see them in my Telegram app. How do I remove them? I tried muting them, blocking them, and deleting the chat history. They're not in my contacts either. But every time I restart my app their chat tab reappears. Is this a bug? What do I do?

I will take down the post ASAP.ForewordRecently like everyone else I've been doomrefreshing (is that even a word?) crypto prices and thought that process should be easier if you are in Telegram. However, all the bots I could find were either not working, not finished, or simply ugly. So I've made my own bot in the Telegram that looks up price/volume/% change of a crypto token from CoinmarketCap and shows it to you. Hence, I am looking for anything: feedback, testing, users, healthy criticism, improvement ideas. Everything goes (please don't use your army of kids to spam the bot and spend all my credits).For techies/enthusiasts:I am using Python and python-telegram-bot library, hosting the bot online in Heroku cloud platform, and using CoinMarketCap API to pull data. There are two limitations with that. In Heroku, free pricing tier that I am using has a 30 minutes auto-sleep, meaning if the bot was not used for the past half an hour, the next request to it will take some extra 5-7 secs to "wake" the bot up. Everybody needs some rest, right? In CoinMarketCap, the number of requests in the free pricing tier is limited, so there is a chance at some point the bot will be "Out of mana" until the next day.​☕I created a /donate option (with Stripe) if someone finds the bot useful and wants to support with the project with some coffee money. It will first be spend on upgrading tier plan of hosting platform and crypto price service to improve the bot's performance. A good inline wikipedia bot that actually works. Is Wikipedia banning them?
I am in need of a good Wikipedia bot that works inline and actually gives the article in text instead of just giving the link like the official wiki bot uselessly does.A lot of group management bots on telegram have this functionality but they are half baked and don't have most of the Wikipedia articles. [Question] Using a friend's phone number to set up an account
So, my phone broke a few days ago. I transferred the SIM to an old phone, but the phone has major issues with reception, so while I still have my old number, I can't receive a text or voice call from Telegram to log back into my new account. At the moment I'm using my tablet, but I still need a phone number to verify. If I used a friend's phone to have the confirmation code sent, would they have any access to my account whatsoever?Thanks.

[Q] Bulk deleting only messages I've sent?
Curious if there's a way (even a github or tampermonkey script or something) to bulk delete only messages I've sent in single or multiple channels/chats of my choice.I'm imagining functionality similar to undiscord, where the process is automated I don't need to manually select and delete a bunch of messages.I don't want to use the clear history function as that deletes the whole chat for everyone

How do people consume porn on it? I just joined because someone asked me to and I’m just suspicious. It also told my contacts I joined it which isn’t cool. But whatever. Hearing my voice back on telegram voice call.
Is there a fix to this ? It literally happens on both pc and android app. It only happens to the person calling. Like if I call my friend i hear my voice back and if they call me they hear their voice back. It has been happening for a long time. Is anyone else having this issue? I tried searching online but no one has mentioned this anywhere.
