Since the day Telegram was launched almost 9 years ago, we've been giving our users more features and resources than any other messaging app. A free app as powerful as Telegram was revolutionary in 2013 and is still unprecedented in 2022. To this day, our limits on chats, media and file uploads are unrivaled.And yet, many have been asking us to raise the current limits even further, so we looked into ways to let you go beyond what is already crazy. The problem here is that if we were to remove all limits for everyone, our server and traffic costs would have become unmanageable, so the party would be unfortunately over for everyone.After giving it some thought, we realized that the only way to let our most demanding fans get more while keeping our existing features free is to make those raised limits a paid option. That's why this month we will introduce Telegram Premium, a subscription plan that allows anyone to acquire additional features, speed and resources. It will also allow users to support Telegram and join the club that receives new features first.Not to worry though: all existing features remain free, and there are plenty of new free features coming. Moreover, even users who don't subscribe to Telegram Premium will be able to enjoy some of its benefits: for example, they will be able to view extra-large documents, media and stickers sent by Premium users, or tap to add Premium reactions already pinned to a message to react in the same way.While our experiments with privacy-focused ads in public one-to-many channels have been more successful than we expected, I believe that Telegram should be funded primarily by its users, not advertisers. This way our users will always remain our main priority.

[Question] /trust command, Shieldy
I have a telegram group with ~ 2.5k members. Some existing verified users' messages are automatically deleted by shieldy (@shieldy_bot), /trust command solves it. Is there anyway where I can /trust every member in my group?

Automated counting bot.
What up guys, i'm trying to make a bot to count how many uses were invited by some certain user, like, i'm doing a giveaway and to participate in it you have to invite as many people as possible, but i want the bot to count how many were invited by the participants in the giveaway, something to do with like, to be eligible for the giveaway you have to send your @ on telegram, and then the bot would count how many were invited on base those @ people sent.

Grey number on profile picture when searching?
Hi everyone,Would someone be able to point me in the right direction. I have searched for a friend in the search option and noticed on some of the chats of people I have blocked. A Grey number one in a grey circle. When I look in the chat there isn’t any messages because I have blocked them. So out of curiosity I wondered what it meant? As I can’t find out via a Google search.Thank for your help!

Explicit content blocked on iOS
Im on iOS, ive tried logging in through the web app and nicegram/telegram bot to enable everything I need to enable in order to view the content but it still doesnt let me. It doesnt even let me see it on my PC. Someone help, I’m getting tired of this.Edit: Im in the US

No private chat Notification sounds?
Google pixel 6. Never had this issue before moving to this phone and I don't get any sound notifs for secret chats. I've tried having the playstore version and the version off website (current) and both the same results. I've made sure my notification settings is all correct too. Anyone else had this issue? Secret chat does vibrate softly when I get a chat but apart from that nothing else.

What kind of app is the default telegram for linux?
I mean, i download telegram from here and i mark it executable, then i just start the program with double clicking. So, it's not a .deb package for sure. How to hide group owner without resulting with an user with the group name?
So, I'm on a group where the owner is anonymous, but he is literally anonymous, like he isn't even appearing in the group members as someone with the group name.In all my groups I can't do that, when I turn myself anonymous all I get is being an user with the group name. Why's that? Why is that group different?

[Q] Logged out of my account...
Hello everyone,I use Telegram on my computer. My hard drive died so I got another one and installed Telegram again but I can't log it. I'm asked to get a code on my last session which I can't do. When clicking on "get a SMS", I'm told this option is unavailable. (I don't have a smartphone.) Is there a way to get my account back? I've messaged the customer support address a week ago but no answer. Frankly this isn't normal to be locked out when I still have access to my phone number, I'm glad there was nothing important on my Telegram account... Thank you!

Can I import a Telegram chat export to Telegram?
My chat history with my SO was deleted by accident. It had all of our memories from five years ago, so it's pretty valuable to both of us. I have exported this chat once on (May 5th, 2022) as HTML.So, is there a way for me to import it back to telegram so everything returns back to normal?

Duplicate downloads
When I download from a channel telegram downloads the same file again for the discussion group even though I haven’t joined the discussion group. For example I download a 1GB file on the channel, in my cache it takes up 1GB for the channel but has another 1GB taken up for the discussion as a separate chat, I.e. if I want to download a 1GB file, it takes up 2GB on my cache. When I clear the cache for the discussion, it deletes the file from the cache the channel as well.Is there some way to disable the duplicate downloading?
