EU to have AI automatically scan private chats (including encrypted messengers)
Seems like EU is planning to automatically have AI scan private chats and force messengers with E2E encryption to embed backdoor to do so. Justification is, as always it seems, to fight CP.. Chat not loading
So I currently have a problem where one of my chats is not loading. When I click on it a loading indicator/ spinner shows up which just runs forever without loading the chat.I already restarted my device but it didn't help. And since it is a secret chat deleting and re-downloading the app is not an option since in this case I would lose that chat (and any other secret chats) forever.Any advice? Or any idea on what's going on?I can still access the media files, tho. So the chat data has to still be there somewhere. And I didn't delete any telegram related data from my phone (where secret chats are stored).Last time I used the chat I was scrolling to the very beginning to check sth. Could this be the issue? Like that now it has to load all the later messages again? Because even if so it should work at some point and not load them forever?(Btw I cannot send a new message since I am unfortunately not on speaking terms with this person atm and I would be afraid that this message would also just disappeare in the void and I couldn't quickly delete it 😅)

Mute notifications from a specific for a short time after a first message
These days with messaging apps over internet, messages are cheap and not really paid per message as sms/text messages used to be. As a result, people send several messages short after each other. So if someone sends me 10 messages in short succession, I get 10 notifications, which can be annoying, if I am for example in the office.So I would like to be able to set the notifications such that if someone sends me a message, it gives me a notification, but then doesn't give me any notifications anymore for the next messages, for say like 5 minutes or so. Of course if I read the messages, this "temporary mute" should be lifted again.Is there a possibility of doing something like this?

I have been looking for the best RSS feed bot, cos many of these bots take feed but how it looks in the channel is a disaster. Do you have any suggestions for that?My priority is in one post all information not one post with many messages.

Question about How number privacy and username works?
I have been speaking to this person but I dont seem to be seeing both his username and number,I havent share my number with him but instead has shared my username with, from my understanding I should be seeing his username when I click on his profile unless he has my number already and messaging me through it directly from his side without having a username registered?

woke up to random text via telegram containing login code
could someone help explain? i never use the service and was sent a code earlier this morning. i think someone was trying to login my account but why would they send it via telegram? how would that help me log back in the account if i was actually trying to login and was locked out?i just ended up deleting the account entirely because i was too paranoid.

Translate for Telegram Desktop?
Where is the translate option for Desktop?​On my phone I can go to Settings -> Language and there is an option to enable inline translate.​On Telegram for Desktop, this option does not exist.

@spoiler_fwd_bot seems dead, replacements?
You could message this bot any type of message (image, video, text, etc), and it'd give you a button in reply. You could forward this button anywhere, and whoever clicked it would be redirected to the bot, which would forward your original message to them.Is there any bot out there which does the same thing? Just created a telegram account and I want to delete it.
Hi everyone,A group I follow on Instagram recently posted a link to a telegram channel (I think that’s what they’re called) that I wanted to join to get the latest updates. I’ve never used telegram before so I needed to download it in order to join the channel. I only intended to use telegram for keeping up to date with this group so when I made my account and they (telegram) asked for my contacts I said no. I finished creating the account and joined the group and went about my day.Sometime later, my mom-who uses telegram, asked me if I had joined telegram. The only reason she would ask this is if telegram let her know I joined. This feels like a violation of some kind as I didn’t allow them access to my contacts to my knowledge. Is there something I’m missing in the terms and conditions that makes this okay? It’s left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m honestly contemplating deleting the app and deactivating my account. Did anyone have similar problems?

iOS app custom theme switching
Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the themes for the iOS app.On my old iPhone I set up a blue/turquoise theme for the light mode and a purple/pink theme for the dark mode. It automatically switches using the system setting.On my new iPhone I can‘t get this to work. In fact, I don‘t know how I did it on my old phone. I edited the colors of the day theme to match the one on my old phone. When switching to dark mode it just turns all the white surfaces to black but doesn‘t change the colors of the chat bubbles.I think I set up both themes the same way but it just doesn‘t work. If anyone knows what I‘m doing wrong and how to get it to work as it was on my old phone, please let me know. [Q]Do Blocks Carry Over Between Accounts?
I got blocked by someone on my main account after an argument than a few days later on my alt I came across this person's account again but it still appeared as if I was blocked( no account picture and last seen a long time ago) so do blocks carry over between two accounts? Both are on my phone if that helps.

Weird Issue with Folders
Suddenly a ton of my channels & groups were added to random folders, including one folder which seems to have absorbed a tremendous number of out-of-place channels & groups. This should take an hour to undo…Anyone know why or if there’s some way I could’ve done this by accident? I had it nicely organized and it’s quite vexing.
