Looking for a way to effectively get scammers banned on Telegram
Man, this shit is aggravating. All of my local groups are plagued with scammers posing as escorts trying to score some free google gift cards. Not only that, but they spam group chats every 10 minutes or so. I tried reporting them hundreds of times and nothing has ever happened, they're still spamming away (tried simple report and @ notoscam account, never had a reply or action taken). Even worse, at times MY account got limited because i tried wasting their time and they blocked and reported me lmao (as far as i understand if they DM you first you don't risk getting limited which is what i've been luring them to do). How do you deal with this scum of the earth effectively on this platform? sorry for the weird rant, but my grandmother has been victim of a big scam in the past and since then i've despised people like that, and i'd like to do something about it if i can help it. Fuck scammers.

Shieldy bot doesn't work - bots are passing all verification methods
I have an issue with a Telegram group which I administrate. Once every couple of days or so we get spam bots that join the group and somehow manage to solve all three of Shieldy's captcha methods (button, math problem, image captcha)​Here's one that I had just now which somehow got past the button captcha: https://i.imgur.com/oYng9gq.png​Once they solve it they immediately post the spam (which indicates to me that they are a bot and not a real person), but thankfully Shieldy usually catches it and deletes the message instantly (think this is Combot anti spam at work)​How are they doing this? Is Shieldy a good bot to use or should I use something else? Is there any way I can make it so that the bots can't solve the captchas and thus get kicked after the threshold?

My Public Channel Doesn't Allow Previews
My telegram channel was allowing people who don't have a telegram account to preview my content. It has been working for over 3 months. Yesterday, it stopped. I thought it was a glitch for everyone else but nope, it's just mine. when I click on Preview Channel link on other people's channel it opens up and show the content on their channel. For mine it does nothing on mobile or it asked me to choose an application when using opera on my desktopo.I enabled the “Disable filtering” option and it still won't work.How do I fix this?I want the public to be able to view my channel without being forced to sign up for telegram.

My Account Keeps Spamming People
Has anyone had an issue where your account gets logged out and when you sign back in, you've apparently sent spam messages to 30+ people? This crap is extremely annoying. I have 2FA and it's constantly to a bunch of Russian accounts. I constantly have to go and delete all these chats and its a drag. I've reached out to Telegram and received no response. Is there something up with my account that I can fix? Any help is appreciated

Android: notifications for every missed message every time
Does anyone else have this?If I have 5 unread messages and I get a new one, I don't just get a notification for the new message, I get every single unread message again as if it just came inusually starting with the oldest oneI end up feeling like they're being pushy and sending the same message over and overbut then I remind myself "no, they only said it once, telegram's just giving me that notification over and over and over for some reason"Shouldn't it be only giving me a notification for the newest one? that's how every other app in existence works. I know they messaged me, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Just tell me what the message that just came in saidEdit: or sometimes it ONLY shows me the old missed message as if it just came in - and not the new one at all(I'm on a samsung s21, android 12, though this happened in 11 too)

Chat not loading
So I currently have a problem where one of my chats is not loading. When I click on it a loading indicator/ spinner shows up which just runs forever without loading the chat.I already restarted my device but it didn't help. And since it is a secret chat deleting and re-downloading the app is not an option since in this case I would lose that chat (and any other secret chats) forever.Any advice? Or any idea on what's going on?I can still access the media files, tho. So the chat data has to still be there somewhere. And I didn't delete any telegram related data from my phone (where secret chats are stored).Last time I used the chat I was scrolling to the very beginning to check sth. Could this be the issue? Like that now it has to load all the later messages again? Because even if so it should work at some point and not load them forever?(Btw I cannot send a new message since I am unfortunately not on speaking terms with this person atm and I would be afraid that this message would also just disappeare in the void and I couldn't quickly delete it 😅)

Mute notifications from a specific for a short time after a first message
These days with messaging apps over internet, messages are cheap and not really paid per message as sms/text messages used to be. As a result, people send several messages short after each other. So if someone sends me 10 messages in short succession, I get 10 notifications, which can be annoying, if I am for example in the office.So I would like to be able to set the notifications such that if someone sends me a message, it gives me a notification, but then doesn't give me any notifications anymore for the next messages, for say like 5 minutes or so. Of course if I read the messages, this "temporary mute" should be lifted again.Is there a possibility of doing something like this?
