Tried to use videocall but isn't working
When I tried to use videocall on Telegram, I heard the phone, accept the call, but then nothing, the screen just turning black and then return to the main screen. I do remember that I saw something like exchange keys in the screen, what could be the situation?

Some hacker is logging into my account
A few days ago, I noticed an unauthorized device log into my account and a bunch of my groups were deleted, so I quickly logged out of all devices except my phone and added 2 factor authentication. A day later I logged back in with my laptop and tablet. Last night I was logged out of all devices, and saw a telegram confimation code that someone requested..... so the hacker still has access to my account? How? If I added 2 factor authentication using additional password. I don't have access to the phone number associated with the account, and only have access to the email. So it's going to me difficult to recover my account.

How to lift someone's restriction to comment
So I hired a TG bot developer & I won't go into everything he did, but he ruined my entire group & now one of the member's can't comment & I removed the bot already.How can I lift this person's restriction?Thanks

I cleared history before leaving a group but when I rejoin the old messages are gone. Is there a way to get them back?
If anyone else joins using the invite link he’ll see all the old messages but after I cleared history I cant see them if i rejoin.

What does “Exceptions” mean on Telegram? If I turn on Show Notifications, does it mean that an exception I add would not show as a notification? And vice versa?

Is there any way to know that a contact who just joined telegram is the same person whose number I put in my phone a decade ago?
Basically, I just got a notification that a friend I haven't seen or spoken to in years (not per any animosity) just joined Telegram, and I thought it would be nice to catch up, but a few concerns stayed my hand.Firstly, do I (or does Telegram) know that they didn't change their number years ago and that it hasn't since been transferred to someone entirely different who has now joined Telegram? Second, I've had so many friends come out as trans/nonbinary over the last several years, I'm kinda afraid to inadvertently come in with "Hey, [deadname], how've you been?".Is it better in this instance just to let sleeping dogs lie? Or send a waving sticker and hope for a "who dis?"?

is it possible to transfer a whole chat into another account?
I have a conversation with a friend of mine, but I'm going to disable my current account and make a new one for reasons. Is there any way i can backup all of that chat like a copy and paste it into my new account in a channel or something? Ik it sounds stupid but i really don't want the chat to go...any help please?

messages only arrive on the desktop
For 2 weeks I have had the problem that messages from my wife only arrive on the desktop and no longer on the smartphone. For example, if she sends 5 photos, it can happen that I get the first one on my smartphone, but not the other 4. I then have to start the laptop and start the Telegram web version so that I can watch the rest. I haven't been able to fix the problem yet. I have a Oneplus 9 Pro with Android 12 / Oxygen OS 12.1 and the latest Telegram app version.Does anyone know the problem and can maybe give me a tip?

Telegram can't download to external drive in Linux (Pop!_OS 22.04)
As the title says, I can't seem to be able to download files from Telegram desktop to external drive. It's still working fine two days ago, and started causing problem after I restarted the computer. When I started to download, the 'Save To' windows shows 'The folder contents could not be displayed. Operation was cancelled'. I still can download to internal drive, but the external drive wouldn't even start downloading. I'm pretty new to Linux, so I don't even know where to start looking for what's wrong.

link preview thumbnail is extremely small.link title should be limited to 50 characters.link description ahould be limited to 150 with smaller font size.ALTERNATIVELY they can just give the user a goddamn option to change these settings to whatever he likes!

all my channels and groups disappeared
I was in a bunch of group chats and channels in Telegram, and I checked them all this morning and they weren't there. As if I left every chat or group at once! I really don't know what happened and my friends were confused too bc I wasn't kicked out by anyone. Does anyone know what might've happened?

Weird "welcome" message from someone I know IRL
So, I just signed up for telegram, and within about 2 minutes, someone I know in real life messaged me and said only, "welcome." The thing is, I didn't allow anyone to find me based on my phone number, or username, and I didn't use my real name. Was this a bot maybe?
